Grit, gangs and guns. It’s a constant power struggle to stay on top.

Thank goodness Top Boy has recently been back on our screens after a long 6 years, all thanks to Drake.

Finally, in 2017 Netflix announced that Top Boy would be revived when the rapper bought the rights and ordered 10 new episodes… a blessing to our ears.

It’s hard not to be sucked into the gritty life of East London’s streets and gangs. For 3 series we followed these complex characters’ crazy lives and their moral struggles, as they are sucked further and further into the drug world. Personally, I can’t decide who my favourite is. It has to be a toss up between Jamie and Dushane. I can’t wait to see how Series 4 plays out…
