Frankie Essex Baby Shower: All The Latest Details About Frankie’s Twins
Frankie Essex broke down in tears at her baby shower after the gender reveal. Now the babies have arrived she couldn’t be happier!
Frankie Essex:
Frankie Essex is well known for being the sister of English television personality Joey Essex, who starred in the British semi-reality television programme The Only Way Is Essex.
The star shot to fame after making her debut in season two of the hit show back in 2011.
The Essex native left in 2013, and briefly rejoined the cast in 2015.
Frankie came back again as part of season nineteen in 2016, but hasn’t been on back on screen since.
The TOWIE star appears to have hung up her heels and began to enjoy a quieter life.
However, life has just changed for Frankie forever, with the star giving birth to twins last week!
Frankie Essex baby shower:
Frankie threw a spectacular baby shower, with all of her nearest and dearest attending.
Amongst those attending were her brother Joey cousins Chloe, Charlie, Frankie and Demi Sims, Chloe Ross and Harry Derbidge.
At the end of the night a stunning fireworks display was put on for the couple and their guests – and it was revealed that Frankie is expecting a boy and a girl.
As she found out the news, the mum-to-be fought back the tears as she went to give Luke a big hug.
Frankie announced to the world that she was pregnant on Valentine’s Day.
“How we found out was really lovely. The lady scanning me was focusing on one baby and was then like, ‘What else do we have here then?’ and I was so shocked and asked, ‘Are we having twins?’ I burst out crying, tears of happiness. It was just so beautiful. It was lovely. I was just so shocked!” Frankie told new!.
She even gave fans a sneak peek inside the gorgeous nursery she’s created.
Frankie Essex’s nursery:
Taking to Instagram, she shared a series of snaps of the new nursery she has decorated for her twins.
The space has a neutral theme throughout with hints of pink and blue.
The nursery boasts white walls and furniture, along with a number of adorable decorations including some framed animal-themed prints.
A huge white wardrobe is located in one corner, alongside two matching chests of drawers and a large grey armchair.
Three tiny little hot air balloons have been hung above the drawers, and a small basket filled with essentials is also visible.
Frankie gushed over the space as she explained to her followers where she’d purchased all of the products from, and wrote: “O Babies Our twins Nursery is finally complete,” along with a pink and a blue heart emoji.
The TOWIE star was all smiles in the pictures as she cradled her growing bump over her white strapless jumpsuit.
Another snap showed two cots, one featuring blue furnishings and another with pink, complete with matching cot mobiles.
She also showed off two personalised blankets.
They were embroidered with a small teddy bear and the words ‘Baby Love’ across them, which had been placed among a series of cuddly toys.
Welcoming the babies:
Since then, Frankie has welcomed a boy and a girl into the world with her partner Luke Love.
She posted on Instagram last week: “Double the love. Our baby bears have arrived,” sharing an OK! Exclusive image of her partner Luke Love walking through the hospital carrying a baby in each arm.
What fantastic news!
The couple have since set up an Instagram account dedicated to the twins and ran by Luke.
A few updates have been shared so far, including a heartwarming video of them breaking the news of twins to their loved ones and a tour of their nursery.
Keeping her mother’s memory alive:
On the day that would have been her mother’s birthday, Frankie confessed that it “breaks her heart every day” that her mum won’t get to meet her grandchildren, while her brother, former TOWIE star Joey Essex paid tribute to her.
Joey and Frankie’s mum Tina passed away in 2001 by suicide after a battle with depression.
At the time Joey was just 10 years old and Frankie was 13.
Frankie paid tribute to her mother in an Instagram post dedicated to her.
The post read: “Happy Heavenly Birthday to our world our mum. So missed everyday especially on special days like today and you would have been so excited to be a nanny absolutely breaks my heart even writing this I love you mum I will forever.”
Her brother Joey also paid tribute.
Alongside a throwback snap of himself and his mum lying on a bed cuddling, he wrote: “It don’t get easier, but I do this all for you. I got nothing to prove to anyone but you mum. I’ll keep trying to make you proud. Smiling as much as possible. One day I’ll see you again anyway… happy birthday.”
