A source told The Sun:
“Wes and Leanne split before Christmas. There were no third parties involved; it is just a sad fact that their marriage has run its course.
Leanne has flourished in single life… She has told people she feels free and is working hard on her businesses and flourishing as an independent woman.
Wes meanwhile is carrying on as best he can. There have been rumours of trouble in their marriage for a while but they put a brave face on publicly.
Now it is officially over and they are doing their best to co-parent their children as they build their lives as separate individuals.”
Leanne has now decided to ditch her wedding ring, while Wes has officially moved out of the couple’s lavish family mansion.

While Leanne Brown hasn’t said all that much about her split with her footballer husband, she’s made a heartfelt post that suggests she’s currently taking some time out to work on herself.
The Real Housewives of Cheshire star took to Instagram and wrote:
“When you realise that the one relationship in your life that needs the most attention, love, kindness, respect and compassion, is the one with yourself, your life will improve dramatically.”

During her time on the ITV reality show, Leanne got into a LOT of catfights with her co-stars, and had a long-standing feud with her fellow cast member Dawn Ward.
It’s thought the pair originally fell out over a £500,000 loan that Leanne’s husband Wes gave to Dawn’s husband. Apparently this loan was never repaid.
Things got so heated that lawyers were eventually called in, which took Leanne to breaking point.
