Sara and her husband Simon have been together since they were teenagers, and they seem happier than ever.

Sarah Davies’ husband is Simon Davies, who also happens to be her business partner.
The couple are co-founders and co-owners of craft supplies company Crafter’s Companion, which is estimated to be worth more than £30million.
Sarah started building the company when she was studying at university. After a short work placement at a craft company, the buddying businesswoman spotted a gap in the market for stationary equipment.
She quickly got partner Simon on board, and their company has gone from strength to strength.

While Sara and Simon’s age gap doesn’t really make any difference these days, it caused a bit of a ruckus when they were in their teens!
Sarah was fifteen when she started dating Simon, who was nineteen at the time.
Chatting with OK! Magazine, Sarah revealed:
“I was fixteen and Simon was nineteen. So it was quite the scandal at the time, I can tell you!
He was the star of our local cricket team and I remember him coming over and asking for my number. I was like, ‘Oh my God!’ He was my first boyfriend and I was his first girlfriend.”
The couple are still going strong all these years later, and are focused on their three kids.
Family Life
Together, Sara and Simon have two young sons; Oliver, who is six, and Charlie, who is now three.
Sara has maintained that her kids will have to work for their pocket money, but it seems like they’ll get more than she did at her age. And it’s all down to their superior negotiation skills…
“My six-year-old son will help out at the shop, which my sister owns, and she’ll have him doing the same thing that I was back then.
With a bit of inflation, he will get a couple of quid. My boys can negotiate much better than I can.”

But it seems that Sara and Simon have different ideas about parenting now and again!
Speaking on Loose Women, the Dragon said:
“My husband Simon wants to give the kids the things we could not have – but I want them to have the experiences we did have.”
Sara and Simon currently juggle their parenting duties with their business, but there’s added pressure for Sara thanks to her Dragons’ Den commitments.
Thankfully, the business guru takes it all in her stride!
Sharing a cute snap of her family on Instagram, Sara wrote:
“I’m a busy person but I never feel like my kids are being compromised. They have a loving, supporting family around them at all times.
My learning is that we CAN have and do both.
No matter how busy you are as a working mum you shouldn’t feel less of a mother– you are doing your best!”.
Career
Sara’s company now turns over £34 million a year, exports to more than 40 countries worldwide and employs staff in the UK, the US and Europe.
