Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs have had a bit of a rollercoaster relationship over the years.
After hitting things off on Bachelor in Paradise, the couple have been on and off for a while now. But it seems that it’s third time lucky for the pair as they give their relationship another go.

Becca and Thomas first met on day five of Bachelor in Paradise. Becca had two failed engagements under her belt at this point, so she was a little unsure how things would pan out. And it seemed like her first conversation with Thomas wasn’t the best…
“We talked for maybe five minutes and at the end of the conversation he said something along the lines of … he called me a declined credit card.
He was, like, trying to flirt and be kind of smooth and funny and it just came out wrong.”
Despite the awkward start, the pair went from strength to strength during filming. But the couple ended up splitting at the time of the season’s finale…

Becca felt like she didn’t know Thomas as well as she thought she did and got cold feet at the last minute. However, they soon worked out their differences away from the cameras, and they were back on track.
“We came back [home] and had to explore that on our own away from the cameras but at that moment [on the beach during the finale], I think that was game-changing for me.
Because I have really never had somebody fight, I would say, like, tooth and nail to want to keep a relationship with me.”
Post-filming
Becca and Thomas kept their relationship much more private after this, but it seems that things had fallen apart a couple of times behind the scenes.
In an Instagram post from October 2021, Becca posted a cute snap of herself and Thomas with the caption:
“You know what they say … Third time’s a charm.
I’m sorry for breaking up with you on national television, but I’ll take every day to make it up to you, Tommy. Thanks for making my heart smile far more than it ever has.”
Nobody could quite work out when and why the couple had split up (twice) but whatever the reason, it seems like it’s not proving an issue anymore!

In a cute Instagram story in December 2021, Thomas said:

Before Becca and Thomas met on Bachelor in Paradise, the TV stars had experienced their fair share of heartbreak.
Becca started her quest for love on the 22nd season of The Bachelor, where she was winning the affections of Arie Luyendyk Jr. Arie eventually chose to propose to Becca at the end of the season, but they went their separate ways after he admitted he still had feelings for Becca’s rival Lauren Burnham.
