Mom and dad of this little girl actually deemed her a miracle baby. The two of them had opened up about struggling to concieve. The two of the were depserate to become first time parents but it was not as easy as they had once hoped.
After a long time of struggling the pair were coming to accept that they may never concieve naturally. And so, they enclited in IVF. In fact, it was right before they were going to start the rounds of IVF treatment that she concieved.
The Story Behind ‘Antarctica’
The circumstances behind the conception of Lyra Antarctica does not end there. They were actually on holiday in Antarctica at the time. The couple knew that they would soon be strating IVF and so for a moment, trying to have a baby by their own means was out of their minds.
They went on holiday and completely relaxed. And then, bam. They found out she was pregnant. The singer of Lego House was so overjoyed he pronounced it a miracle and suggested they had the place as part of her name to pay tribute. Lots of fans were speculating the meaning behind the name at the time because it is not something that is often heard of.
Why Lyra?
There’s one main reason we are fmailiar with the name Lyra. Because aside from His Dark Materials, it’s a very uncommon name. But, it turns out that that is exactly why they named their daughter Lyra. The song writer’s favourite book series of all time was Dark materials. In fact, he claims it is actually the best love story of all time. And so, he loves it so much that it was his favourite option incase they had a little baby girl. Which they did.

Lyra Antarctica Seaborn
When the baby girl of the famous singer had been born there was not only sepculation around the names Lyra and Antarctica, but also Seaborn. Due to the stories involved with the other names, many started to assume that the child of the happy couple had actually been born on a ship.
But, it’s much more simple than that. Seaborn is the last name of Cherry, Sheeran’s wife. And so, the two of them gave their daughter a double barrelled name – Seaborn-Sheeran.

A Family Vacation
We all know and love the new hit single Peru. Sheeran collaborated with Fireboy and the track mixes two cultures and includes afrobeats. Since doing the single, the singer has become mesmerised with the culture.
A source told the sun:
“Ed is so excited about taking his family to Nigeria.
“He absolutely loves West Africa, he’s already been to Ghana and loved it.
“Ed has been showing off his fancy two-step dance moves in his latest video with Nigerian hit-maker Fireboy DML too, and everyone already loves him out there.
“He won’t be short of a chaperone to show him around either as Fireboy DML, as well as superstar Davido, will be ready to take him and his family to the best spots.”
He plans to take his wife and his daugter to Nigeria to experience the amazing culture.
