Everybody knows Allison Scagliotti as hacker extraordinaire Claudia Donovan in Warehouse 13. But where is she now?
Allison Scagliotti:
Allison Glenn Scagliotti was born September 21, 1990 and is 31-years-old.
She is of Italian descent, with her great-grandparents immigrating to the United States from Italy through Ellis Island.
Allison Scagliotti was born in Monterey, California, but grew up in Louisiana.
She was raised by single mother Lauren Scagliotti after her parents separated when she was just two-years-old.
But despite her setbacks, you can see from early Allison is destined to be a star.
She quickly enrolled in her middle school’s talent and drama program and things seem to have spiralled from there!
When Allison Scagliotti was 11, she was working with an acting coach who encouraged her to try auditioning for pilot season in Los Angeles.
She booked a pilot for a sitcom with Chevy Chase which was filmed in New York.
Shortly after that the family moved to Los Angeles for young Allison to pursue acting career.
Early career:
Before joining the cast of Warehouse 13 as the incredibly gifted Claudia Donovan, Allison Scagliotti performed regularly on some Nickelodeon kid shows.
You will be able to find her in shows like Drake & Josh as Drake’s brainy enemy Mindy Crenshaw.
She also starred in other roles in Zoey 101, and One Tree Hill.
After Warehouse 13 ended in 2014, Scagliotti immediately took on a regular role as another computer expert, Camille Engelson on the sci-fi series Stitchers, which ran for three seasons.
She also appeared in the series The Vampire Diaries as Georgie in a recurring role during the show’s eighth and final season in 2016.
Her latest credit on IMDb is an episode of the digital series “Take One Thing Off” in 2018.
However, she seemed to disappear after that, and fans are wondering if she is still acting.
Allison Scagliotti music and sci-fi:
Allison is an incredibly busy girl, and does a lot more than just acting.
In 2014, she joined the advisory board of Sci-Fest LA, the first annual Los Angeles Science Fiction One-Act Play Festival.
She has also branched out into the music industry and is incredibly talented.
The rock fan actress regularly posts videos of her playing the guitar to her Instagram page including one of her jamming to Debaser, a song by the Pixies.
She captioned the post: “I have seen the Pixies live no less than 3 times. I cried when I saw the Breeders. What you need to understand is that Kim Deal is one of my favorite musicians. Period. This song always lifts me.”
Allison is heavily inspired by sounds of the 90s and indie rock bands.
Posting another video of her playing a bright blue electric guitar in a tiger print blouse, she wrote: “Closing out the 90s with this personal fave. All I wanna be is Melissa auf der Mar when I grow up. Celebrity Skin is hands down my favorite Hole record, and I love them all.”
Band and music career:
From 2015 to 2018, Allison was in a band known as Nice Enough People along with Drake and Josh co-star Jerry Trainor.
In 2016, she appeared as a guitar player in the music video “Some Are Girls” for Maxie Dean.
Just a few years laster in 2019, Allison released her first solo EP under the pseudonym “La Femme Pendu” which she describes as “French lounge horror ballads.”
Despite the poor timing, Covid doesn’t stop her from working on her music career.
May 1, 2020 is the release date of her first album, Absolute Horror.
The second, which she calls VAMPYR, has the release date of October 22nd, 2021.
Allison Scagliotti now:
Since 2018, Allison Scagliotti appears to be taking time off from acting in favour of launching a career as a director.
She has directed five episodes of the Nickelodeon sitcom Henry Danger and the Disney Channel studio improv series Just Roll With It.
She also has written and directer her own short film The Cards, which she also stars in.
The short film also features her Stitchers co-star actor Jackson Davis.
In the film, Jackson is playing Derek Steelman, a hacker dies, while Allison plays a fortune teller.
Mysteriously, she seems to know everything about the guy who is coming to ask questions.
Indeed, despite less frequent on-screen roles, it’s clear Allison hasn’t completely left her life acting career in the past.
Allison still attends meet and greets and live one to ones where she speaks about her time in the sci-fi hit warehouse, with the last one taking place in June 2021.
As for her personal life, it doesn’t look like Allison will be settling down any time soon as she is currently still single.
In fact, she is so private that very little is known about her dating history.
However, some publications claim Allison simply has never been in a relationship before.
