Yewande Biala has been dumped from ‘Love Island’, after her partner Danny Williams chose to partner up with newcomer Arabella Chi.
The 23-year-old scientist was axed from the villa during Monday’s (24.06.19) episode of the ITV2 reality show, after her partner Danny Williams chose to couple up with newcomer Arabella Chi during a shock recoupling that left Yewande single, and therefore booted from the show.
But despite losing out on love, Yewande believes 21-year-old model Danny and fellow model Arabella, 28, have a shot at a future, although she’s concerned about their age gap.
When asked if she can see Arabella and Danny going the distance, she said:
“Maybe. A bombshell coming in, it’s very hard and it’s difficult to know their intentions. I hate it when a bombshell comes in saying ‘I want to get to know everyone’, because that is a lie. You know who you’re going for. She knew she wanted Danny. I feel like if he does get to know her, it’s not going to work. There are so many factors – they’re so different, and the age gap. You have to be realistic. He’s just starting his life – he’s only 21. They are in two different phases of their lives. In the villa, it’s very easy to forget.”

Yewande doesn’t want to see Danny and Arabella win the show though, as she’s rooting for close pal Amber Gill and her partner Michael Griffiths, who was originally partnered up with Yewande.
Asked which couple she thinks has the best shot at a future, she said:
“Michael and Amber. I love the way it started because the minute I walked in and coupled up with Michael, he said ‘there’s something about Amber that I love so much.’ I was friends with Amber and she was like ‘he’s not my type.’ Gradually you could see her getting nervous around him. The way it’s developed is so organic, which is the way it normally happens on the outside. It’s so magical to watch it happen.”

The scientist believes that alongside Amber and Michael, the only other “genuine couple” is Curtis Pritchard and Amy Hart, as she accused all the other islanders of “playing a game”.
Speaking as she left the villa, she said:
“I think there are a couple of people in there playing a game – a lot of people aren’t there for the right reasons. I’d probably say there are only two genuine couples. Michael and Amber and Curtis and Amy.”
