Zach Galifianakis Wife: Who Is The Actor Married To?

Zach Galifianakis found his fame as the star of hilarious comedies like The Hangover and Dinner for Schmucks. However, though he’s used to the limelight, his wife isn’t.

In fact, many fans will be surprised to find that he has been married to his wife since 2012.

But who is Zach Galifianakis’ wife? Well, here’s everything you need to know.

Who is Zach Galifianakis’ Wife?

Zach Galifianakis’ wife isn’t in show business like the actor – so it’s easy for her to stay out of the spotlight.

In fact, Zach Galifianakis is married to Quinn Lundberg. We don’t know much about her as the pair prefer to stay off social media, which seems strange given Zach’s stardom and popularity.

However, we do know that Zach Galifianakis’ wife is a former dance teacher from Canada. Quinn trained in ballet and modern dance.

Now, though, Quinn has given up her dancing career. She is the founder of two charities and stays busy with her philanthropic activities.

The first charity, Growing Voices, helps with sustainable projects in undeveloped communities. Her second charity, LOOM, is an educational platform that helps women better understand their reproductive health.

Quinn has a Master’s degree in Public Policy from UCLA and a Bachelor’s degree in International Conflict Resolution. Because of her impressive educational background, she has also previously worked with UNICEF.

The Actor’s Children

Speaking to Rolling Stone magazine once upon a time, Zach Galifianakis opened up about his desire to have children. He said: “I’ve been wanting kids for 10 years. I’d love to adopt, have them naturally – all of it. I want, like, 15.”

In the end, Zach’s wish came true. Just one year after Zach Galifianakis married Quinn Lundberg, the couple had their first child, a boy.

As with most births, it was a little unexpected, with Zach having to pull out of Toronto International Film Festival in order to stay with his wife in Los Angeles as she prepared to give birth.

Even now, Zach has never revealed the name of his first child. He even said that he and his wife didn’t want to reveal the sex of their child. Before the birth of his firstborn, Zach joked: “We don’t wanna find out until it’s 16. We just call it ‘It’ right now. No, we haven’t named it yet. It has a number right now.”

In 2016, the couple had their second child, another boy. This time, the actor revealed the name of his son: Rufus Emmanuel Lundberg.

By this time, Zach and his wife still hadn’t revealed much about life as parents. Zach admitted in 2014: “‘I think fatherhood is just the greatest thing, it really really is.”

Before the birth of their second son, Zach also joked about his routine with his firstborn, now two years old.

He said: “I’m strict. He’s 2 and right now I have him on a strict exercise routine.

When he gets out of the crib it’s 50 push-ups right away. To have a really fit 2-year-old and to show that he can kick other 2-year-old’s butts is really important.”

What is Zach Galifianakis Doing Now?

Zach Galifianakis has recently left the world of adult comedies behind. His most recent film, Ron’s Gone Wrong, is a children’s animated science fiction adventure, following lonely high schooler Barney who befriends a malfunctioning robot called Ron.

In the film, Zach voices the character of robot Ron.

In the past, Zach has also voiced characters for children’s films such as The Lego Batman Movie, The Muppets, and Puss in Boots.

In fact, Ron’s Gone Wrong may be the first move that Zach’s children will be able to watch. In the past, he has joked that he will never show them R-rated comedy The Hangover.

He said: “They shall never know of it. I’ll just deny it. I’ll say, ‘I don’t know what you’re talking about. I had nothing to do with that movie.'”

Zach also explained that he and his wife Quinn want to keep them free from the public eye and from Zach’s career for as long as possible.

“People used to come up to me and be like, ‘Oh, my kids love The Hangover,’ and I’m like, ‘You’re a terrible parent.’ They need to mature a little bit before they see that.”
