Martha Atack: What Do We Know About Emily Atack’s Family?

Whether you know her from The Inbetweeners or Celebrity Juice, Emily Atack has become one of the most popular of the young generation of British comedians.

At just 32 years old, Emily has even made history as her stand-up show, The Emily Atack Show, attracted the most viewers of any female-led show on ITV in 2020.

But while she does live in the public eye, and talks about her life on stage, many people don’t know a lot about her family. So, let’s find out where she came from, and about Emily’s sister Martha Atack…

Who is Martha Atack?

Martha Atack is Emily Atack’s younger sister – though not by much, as she’s 30 years old. She doesn’t often appear on Emily Atack’s social media, but fans have seen her appear more over the last two years – and that’s for a very important reason.

In fact, Martha Atack recently got married, and Emily posted the details of the stunning hen do and London ceremony on her Instagram.

The hen do was held in July last year, and included an afternoon party in London as well as a stay at Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire. It looked like Emily had helped secure accommodation in a huge farmhouse at the luxury members club.

Martha then married her partner, Mark Durham in August of the same year at The Ned hotel in the center of London. The bride wore a beautiful floor-length gown with a long train, and Emily made sure to get plenty of pictures.

But what does Martha Atack do for a job? In fact, she’s in a very similar industry as her TV personality sister.

In fact, Martha works as a talent manager. She manages some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, including Sara Cox and Giovanna Fletcher.

Aside from Martha Atack, though, Emily Atack has one other sibling: a 29-year-old brother called George. He is a musician and TV researcher.

Emily Atack’s Parents

Emily Atack was born in Luton, and her parents are actually a little bit famous in their own right.

Her mum is actress Kate Robbins, best known for appearing in the ITV drama Crossroads and providing voiceovers for Spitting Image.

Her dad, Keith Atack, has a background in music, as he was in the pop band Child in the late 1970s.

There are even more famous people in Emily Atack’s distant family, though. She’s also related to Paul McCartney through her mum, who is the Beatles’ cousin-once-removed.

Sadly, though, in 2007, Emily’s parents divorced after an incredible 17 years of marriage. In 2020, Emily revealed that the divorce had a major impact on her as a teenager.

She said: “I didn’t talk to Dad for months and was angry with both of them. I pulled away from Mum, started hanging out with lads and smoking and drinking.

I stopped listening and did what I wanted, and by the time I was 14 I was seeing this much older lad. That’s when the school bullying started.”

Her Love Life

But how is Emily’s own love life going? Well, not very well if her recent breakup is anything to go by.

The 32-year-old was in a relationship with Jude Taylor, but they called it quits after just five months. Fans will have noticed that he was Emily’s date to her sister’s wedding, where they posted PDA pictures from the reception.

However, according to sources, her busy schedule meant that the couple spent very little time together.

The comedian has also recently opened up about how her fling with footballer Jack Grealish left her broken-hearted.

Emily and Jack became linked during the summer of 2021, as she recuperated from her split with Jude. According to rumors, the two enjoyed a few secret dates while Jack took a break from his own long-term girlfriend.

However, by January 2022, things had apparently fizzled out between them as Jack cut all contact and aimed to patch things up with his girlfriend.

Despite this string of bad luck, Emily herself is very keen to settle down. In 2019, she admitted:

“I’ve always wanted to be a mum. People who actually know me know it’s something I’ve wanted. I’ve got a lot of love in my heart.”
