Carla Brasil: Who Is The OnlyFans Star?
OnlyFans has provided cam girls and other adult performers a source of income that just didn’t exist 10 years ago. Now, the platform has more than 85 million users, with most content creators able to make up to $5,000 per month.
Carla Brasil is one of those adult performers making a living on the platform. The Brazilian-German star has joined many others making a lucrative career with her explicit videos.
But what exactly do we know about Carla Brasil?
Who is Carla Brasil?
Carla Brasil is an adult performer who publishes content on OnlyFans, Twitter, and Instagram. The Brazilian beauty publishes two videos per week on OnlyFans, along with teasers to her 235,000 followers on Twitter.
She was originally active on Twitter, and only joined OnlyFans in 2020. Now, with her regular content uploads and collaborations with other performers, she’s amassed 123,000 likes on the platform.
The performer charges $10 per month, and subscribers get one short video and two long videos each week.
Carla is transsexual, and many of her videos feature her having sexual relations with both men and women.

In particular, Carla Brasil frequently collaborates with fellow Brazilian creator Roberta Cortes. She has amassed 46,000 likes on the platform.
Recently, though, Carla’s videos have taken a hit on the platform, and there’s a good reason. After visiting London, Carla ended up getting Covid – meaning she couldn’t film any videos with other performers.
On OnlyFans, she vented: “I’m triple vaccinated and my symptoms are mild, but I won’t be able to see anybody to make a video the next days. I have one video from London that I haven’t edited yet so I will edit it and post later, but I won’t be able to see anybody for Sunday’s video.”
In the end, Carla revealed that she was able to find someone else in her area who also had Covid in order to film a video together.
Only Fans Controversy
OnlyFans found itself in the spotlight in August 2021 when it decided to ban ‘explicit content’ on the platform. This included sexually explicit videos from adult performers and cam girls.
In response, creator Chelsea Lynn said: “Sex work built OnlyFans, and now it feels like they’re turning their back on us.”
Mary Moody, another big name on the platform, said: “This change will put workers on the street who could otherwise afford rent, it will starve the children of sex workers who could otherwise afford to feed them, and it will force workers currently working remotely online into riskier street-based sex work.”

The uproar from OnlyFans creators and other sex workers only became louder, and just six days after announcing the policy, OnlyFans backtracked.
In an embarrassing and abrupt U-turn, the platform said: “Thank you to everyone for making your voices heard.
OnlyFans stands for inclusion and we will continue to provide a home for all creators.”
Biggest Creators on OnlyFans
While Carla Brasil is certainly earning a living on the platform, she isn’t close to some of the biggest earners on OnlyFans.
There are over 100 users on the platform who regularly earn over $1 million from their videos. However, many creators’ biggest earnings come from tips, which aren’t disclosed on the platform.
One of the biggest earners is reality TV star Blac Chyna. The model and socialite found fame appearing in music videos like Kanye West’s Monster, and now regularly earns an estimated $20 million per month.

Another very recent addition to the list of biggest earners on the platform is actress and singer Bella Thorne. In her first week on the platform, she had earned an estimated $1 million.
However, her move to the platform was not without its controversy. Many creators accused the actress of gentrifying the platform by charging $20 per month for her content.
The 24-year-old is also different from other creators in that she won’t post any nudes. Instead, her feed features suggestive imagery including bikini and lingerie photos.
In late August 2020, Bella apologised to those she had upset. She said: “I wanted to bring attention to the site, the more people on the site the more likely of a chance to normalize the stigmas, And in trying to do this I hurt you.”
