Tom Holland recently made the headlines after he hit back at comments from director Martin Scorsese, and his criticism of the Marvel universe that Tom is a part of.
In an interview with Empire in 2019, Martin Scorsese remarked that Marvel films can’t be considered “real art”, and the films produced in the franchise are more like “theme parks”.
While some cinema goers found themselves agreeing with the director, it seemed a LOT of the Marvel cast weren’t happy with the comments. Especially Tom Holland.

The dust had finally settled on the debate, but during his interviews for Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tom put on his boxing gloves for round 2 with Martin Scorsese.
Talking to the Hollywood Reporter, the star said:
“You can ask [Martin] Scorsese, ‘Would you want to make a Marvel movie?’ But he doesn’t know what it’s like because he’s never made one…
I do think they’re real art.”
While some of Tom’s fans agreed, others criticised the actor for failing to let the debate lie.

After the internet started buzzing with rumours, it was eventually revealed that Tom Holland had been secretly dating his Spider-Man co-star Zendaya.
While the couple were doing the best to keep their romance private, the press rumbled the pair when they spotted the castmates kissing.
Fans predictably went into meltdown, and they’ve been one of the most searched celebrity couples on the internet ever since.
Now they’ve gone public, Tom isn’t shy about making his feelings clear about his girlfriend- and he’s clearly besotted.
Chatting with Extra, the Brit star said:
“She’s one of the most incredible people I’ve ever met. And I love her to bits. So to be here tonight is amazing. I’m delighted to share it with her.”

Tom has noted that while his girlfriend Zendaya is taller than him, it isn’t by much. So he doesn’t understand what all the fuss is about.
And he got a bit inpatient when fans started asking questions about how he manages to kiss his girlfriend…
In an interview with Jessica Shaw for SiriusXM, Tom said he was bewildered that people couldn’t figure out how they kiss.
Zendaya also said:
“It’s a nice sweet moment … why not just let it be?”
My mom is taller than my dad, my mom’s taller than everyone.”
