Sculptor in Ordinary for Scotland
The lucky sculptor who gets enlisted as a member of the Royal House gets to create sculptures for the Royals and create their own works of art. Queen Victoria first appointed this position, although it wasn’t accepted as a member of the Royal household until the 1870s, and wasn’t a permanent position until 1921.
Keeper of the Queen’s Stamps
A surprisingly exciting position for someone who only deals with stamps, the current Keeper gets to travel internationally to show off the royal collection. Michael Sefi is the current Keeper and he has been an avid stamp collector since he was a child, so we know the Queen’s stamps are in good hands.
Surveyor of the Queen’s Pictures
The Surveyor of the Queen’s Pictures has the responsibilities of maintaining and caring for the royal’s pictures and collections of pictures. This too was deemed as necessary to become full-time in 1972. Apparently, the Queen likes collecting pictures.
