Medical Officer to the Queen Abroad

I’m not sure what would put such a big smile on the Queen’s face, except knowing that she’s healthy. Not only does the Queen have her own in-house doctor and gynecologist, but she also has one when she travels anywhere. Generally, this position is held by a senior Royal Navy Surgeon but is not necessarily a member of the Medical Household of the Royal Household of the Sovereign.
The Queen’s Bargemaster

Around since the signing of Magna Carta in 1215, the Queen’s/King’s Bargemaster is in charge of the Royal Watermen, who make sure the launches and tugs operate correctly on the River Thames. The royal family used the River Thames to get around so the Bargemaster used to be in charge of that, but it’s become an increasingly ceremonial position.
