Although a low-ranking servant isn’t all that odd around royalty, the weird part to this is that these Pages are children. Child labor anyone? Thankfully, they don’t do a lot of work, primarily holding the Queen’s train and occasionally attending state occasions. I guess carrying the Queen’s train isn’t the worst first job you could get.
Crown Jeweller

Queen Victoria created the official position of Crown Jeweller in 1843, although before that there were various freelance jewelers she and other monarchs utilized. The Crown Jeweller cleans up and fixes any of the crown jewels that might be in rough shape.
