Anyone who has seen Real Housewives of Cheshire will be more than familiar with Seema Malhotra. The businesswoman is one of the longest surviving castmates on the show, having appeared on it for more than five years.
As well as watching her navigate friendships and business relationships, fans have loved seeing her marriage with Sandeep. He is also an entrepreneur, and the two have built a veritable empire of businesses.

Seema and Sandeep Net Worth
Seema Malhotra is one of the wealthiest cast members on Real Housewives of Cheshire. Her net worth is approximately £2.6 million, roughly the same as fellow castmate Tanya Bardsley’s net worth.
Seema studied Fashion and Design at the University of Salford and wasted no time in starting up her fashion empire after graduating.
During a gap year after graduating, Seema met Sandeep Malhotra. He was busy running his parent’s fashion business and took frequent trips to London, Paris, and Istanbul on business.

In 2008, Seema and Sandeep launched their first fashion business together, Forever Unique. The brand very quickly went from strength to strength. Soon enough, celebrities were spotted wearing Seema’s clothing, including TV royalty Holly Willoughby and real royalty Kate Middleton!
After running her fashion business for around 10 years, Seema decided it was time to branch out into TV. She joined Real Housewives of Cheshire in the third season in 2016 and has been a main cast member ever since.
Financially, the decision to join Real Housewives of Cheshire was a good one. The reality show is one of the shows that grants cast members the biggest salaries after appearances.
However, even Seema and Sandeep can’t compete with RHOC’s biggest earner, Dawn Ward. She has a net worth of over £42 million, even after leaving the program in 2021.
Like Seema, Dawn is also an entrepreneur, with interests in property development and interior design.
Their Relationship
Seema and Sandeep have a very tight bond – so tight, in fact, that you might not know that it was actually an arranged marriage.
Yes, that’s right. Seema only knew Sandeep for a total of six months before the two got married. At one point, her father even told Seema that she was not moving to London at age 21 because she was going to get married instead.
However, it seems that their pairing was right from the beginning.
Seema explains: “I knew straightaway, on the first night that we went out on a date, that I was going to marry him. I’ve never met anyone who was so ambitious at that age. We were young – I met him at 20.
He had dreams and he said, ‘I’m going to do it. I’m going to make it in life, I’m going to work really hard.’ And I don’t think I’d met a guy like that before.”

Seema and Sandeep had a traditional wedding ceremony in 1993, and their relationship has gone from strength to strength. They now have two grown sons, Neil and Aaron.
In 2018, Seema and Sandeep celebrated 25 years of marriage by renewing their vows in sunny Marrakech. The whole cast of RHOC was invited, with the girls having the honour of being Seema’s bridesmaids.
Explaining the choice to do a big event for their vow renewal, Seema said: “When I saw Sandeep and my boys together, I was just bursting with pride and happiness.
I wanted to thank him for everything he has done for me and the children. He has been my rock and partner in crime for life so I wanted to do something he would remember.”
Business Catastrophe
Sadly, though, it looks like Seema and Sandeep’s net worth could be about to drop thanks to a little business catastrophe.
We all know that Covid has had a huge impact on the fashion industry. However, for Seema and Sandeep’s wholesale arm of Forever Unique, the damage was irreversible.

Sadly, in March, the wholesale arm of Seema and Sandeep’s Forever Unique company fell into liquidation due to debts of over £2.8 million.
In total, the company owed Sandeep almost £1.5 million, which included a £300,000 loan. Elsewhere, Forever Unique also owed £483,000 to HMRC.
Luckily, the retail side of the Forever Unique business is still active, and hopefully, Seema and Sandeep can financially recover from this small blow to their wholesale business.
