While Phinnaeus Moder is no stranger to the limelight, his parents Julia Roberts and Daniel Moder have done their best to keep their eldest son away from the cameras.
As he now gets older, fans have noticed that Phinnaeus Moder is getting more used to being famous- but what exactly do we know about the Hollywood family?
Phinnaeus Moder
Phinnaeus Moder was born on the 28th November 2004, which makes him 17 years old now. He has a twin called Hazel.
His other sibling is Henry, who is now 14.
To celebrate Phinnaeus and Hazel’s 17th, their mum and dad decided to give their fans a rare insight into their family life with a super cute throwback photo of their twins.
Taking to Instagram, Daniel Moder wrote:
“These rabble rousers … 17 today. Thank you for helping me through fatherhood”.

Julia Roberts also decided to take a walk down memory lane, and posted an adorable photo of her twins soon after she gave birth.

While Phinnaeus and his family have spent the past few years living a relatively private life (private as you can get anyway) fans were shocked when they spotted Phinnaeus looking a lot older than they remember.
He’s now just as tall as Daniel Moder, and has been wearing matching clothes with his dad.
Apparently Phinnaeus Moder is a huge skateboarding fan, and his dad has been showing off some of his tricks on social media.
The family have also been pictured playing football, surfing, as well as bike riding. They definitely seem like a super active family!
Meet the Parents
Phinnaeus Moder’s parents started to get close way back in 2000 when they were shooting the film The Mexican- but things were complicated.
Julia was dating Benjamin Bratt, while Daniel was married to make-up artist Vera Steimberg.
While Julia Roberts and Daniel Moder insist there was absolutely no crossover from their previous relationships, the media predictably went into a frenzy.
But the Hollywood stars quietly worked things out away from the cameras, and ended up together after Daniel’s divorce had gone through in 2002.

Julia Roberts and Daniel Moder then married just a few months later at the star’s ranch in Mexico.
Speaking with Oprah in 2003, Julia Roberts said:
“He sorted his whole thing out, separate and apart from me.
And I sorted my life out, separate and apart from him. I think that’s the only reason we were able to ultimately fall in love with each other and be together.”
Asked in the same interview if she was responsible for Moder’s divorce, she replied:
“I’m an easy person to point the finger at — ‘she did it’ — and I see that. I don’t begrudge people the easy finger-point. It just doesn’t happen to be so.”
They’re now one of the longest standing couples in Hollywood, and their relationship has continued to go from strength to strength.
Celebrity Mum
While Julia Roberts is one of the most famous women on the planet, Henry, Hazel and Phinnaeus Moder have been blissfully unaware of how well known their mum is.
“I don’t think they will ever have a true sense of [my fame]…
The kids needed more detail…and how better to approach that than by asking about their favourite pop star?
Maybe an hour goes by. [Then they ask,] ‘Are you more famous than Taylor Swift?’”.
