Over the last 20 years, Phillip Schofield has built a career in British TV, and today is one of the most-loved presenters around. Fans love to see his relaxed, interviewing style, and he’s also known for his infectious humour.
But what do we know about Phillip Schofield’s family? Well, there are a few stories there, including a heartbreaking separation from his wife.

Phillip Schofield has one brother called Tim. While the This Morning presenter often shares photo of his mum and children on Instagram, Tim features very rarely.
So, fans were happy when Phillip shared a photo of the brothers together with their mum in 2018. It might sound obvious, but fans were struck, first of all, by how much alike the brothers look!
Phillip has also let slip a couple of other details about his brother. So, we know that Tim Schofield works for the police, which Phillip revealed during a This Morning segment on training police dogs.
He said: “Incredible. And I did that once with my brother, who works for the police force, and I had the arm thing on and the dog came for me… and it is terrifying. The power was unbelievable.”

In 2015, policeman Tim gave his family a scare when he was admitted to the hospital. In fact, it was so serious that Phillip took time off from presenting This Morning to help care for Tim.
According to Phillip, Tim needed life-saving treatment for heart problems. Speaking after Tim returned home from the hospital, Phillip said:
“The BEST Christmas present EVER, my brother Tim is home, faster than I ever imagined possible.
To the astonishing team at the Bristol Royal Infirmary and our remarkable emergency services… THANK YOU for saving my amazing brother.”

But what else do we know about the presenter’s family? Well, to find that out we should start at the beginning.
Phillip Schofield was born in Oldham, Lancashire on 1st April 1962. However, he didn’t stay in Lancashire for long, moving instead to Newquay, Cornwall with his family for primary school.
When he was 19, the family made another move, this time to New Zealand, where Phillip started his TV career. He returned to the UK in 1982, and his parents settled in Cornwall again.

Sadly, Phillip’s father Brian died in 2008 at the age of 72 from a heart attack. However, the presenter still talks about his late father with his mother, Pat; most recently, when Phillip came out as gay.
Phillip explained: “When I went down to Cornwall when I told my mum, I said, ‘What do you think dad would have said? Would he still be proud?’
Thankfully she said, ‘Yes… he’ll think you’re brave and he will always be proud of you.’ So that is good.”
How Many Children Does He Have?
Phillip Schofield married his wife Steph in 1993, and the couple has two daughters.
Eldest daughter Molly is 28 years old and works as a talent manager for YMU Group in London.
YMU Group manages some of the UK’s biggest celebrities and is one of the world’s largest management agencies. Phillip even let slip that his daughter manages Stacey Solomon!
She is in a long-term relationship with Will Grieveson, who frequently appears in family snaps.

Phillip’s youngest daughter Ruby is 26 years old. She also lives in London but attended Leeds Beckett University where she studied psychology.
She completed an internship at ITV and has also volunteered for children’s charities including The Chiltern Centre.
When Phillip made the difficult decision to come out as gay, he described how his daughters reacted with pride.
The presenter said: “It wasn’t easy but they (my daughters) were, they are so amazing in their love and support.
I sat them down and I told them and they jumped up and they gave me a hug, a big hug, a long hug, and then they hugged Steph and they said it’s OK, we’ll be OK, we’ll always be a family, always us four, is what we always call ourselves. We’ll always be that.”
