We don’t know about you, but we used to be absolutely obsessed with The Parent Trap.
It’s been 24 years since it hit the cinemas, which means a lot has changed since then- including the cast!
Let’s find out what the cast are up to now.
Parent Trap Cast Now: Lindsay Lohan
Lindsay Lohan was the break-out star of The Parent Trap– and she’s definitely been busy since then.
She’s starred in everything from Mean Girls to other teen flicks such as Herbie: Fully Loaded and Just My Luck.
She’s also been open about her complicated relationship with her parents, and has been living it up in Dubai since 2016.
Some of the Hollywood star’s down-time antics have also earned her a LOT of attention…
In recent years, she recorded herself accusing a woman of trafficking, a bizarre run-in that literally ended in tears (and a slap). She’s had her fair share of scandals…and has the mugshots to prove it!
But the plucky triple-threat is determined to get her career back on track. She recently landed a voiceover role for Lovestruck High on Amazon Prime.

She also made a singing comeback in 2020 with the single Back to Me.
As for her love life? The star is now engaged to Bader Shammas, who she calls “My love, my life, my family, my future”. They’ve been together for 3 years now, and plan on getting married in the next year or so.
Meet the Parents
Annie and Hallie’s parents, aka Dennis Quaid and Natasha Richardson, went on to have super successful careers after their time on The Parent Trap. But tragedy struck for Natasha, who died in New York City, in 2009 – 11 years after The Parent Trap’s release.
She suffered a head injury while on a skiing trip in Quebec, Canada. The official cause of death was an Epidural Hematoma.
Her son, Micheál Richardson, changed his name in her memory, and is following in his mum’s footsteps by becoming an actor. His heartbreaking loss drew him to his role in Made in Italy, which saw his character deal with the loss of a parent.
Meanwhile, Dennis Quaid has kept himself busy with his podcast, The Pet Show with Dennis Quaid and Jimmy Jellinek.

Adam 12 Cast: Where are they now?
He recently starred in the Netflix show Merry Happy Whatever, and has three films slated for release in the next couple of years. Oh, and he’s also starring as President Reagan in the upcoming autobiographical release Reagan.
Old Friendships
Some of The Parent Trap cast members have still been keeping in touch since their time working together.
Elaine Hendrix and Lisa Ann Walter- who played Meredith Blake and Chessy- are still best friends to this day. If anything, they’re more like sisters!

Kevin Jamal Woods: Where is the actor now?
They’ve regularly attended the Tony Awards together, and give fans plenty of insights into their friendship on Instagram.
In a super-cute post, Elaine Hendrix wrote:
“This lady right here. We have fun together. 22 years ago we had no idea we were about to meet our soulmate.
There’s been a lot of laughs since. Lots more to come. I love you @lisaannwalter Thanks for always having my back…my front…and my sides.”
After her time in The Parent Trap, Elaine has starred in Dynasty, as well as Paradise Lost.
She’s also outspoken on animal rights, and has founded The Pet Matchmaker company to help animals find their forever homes.
Meanwhile, Lisa is starring in the comedy Abbott Elementary. She also happens to be a stand-up and film producer, and has even done a brief stint as a radio host for The Fabulous Lisa Ann Walter Show. Talk about multi-talented!
