Marty McKenna and Chloe Ferry’s relationship is infamous by Geordie Shore standards.
During their time together, there were bust-ups, drug raids and suspensions, and the couple eventually went their separate ways.
Let’s look back at their on-again-off-again relationship.

Marty and Chloe first met on MTV’s Ex on the Beach, and it didn’t take long for the pair to hit things off.
When Marty McKenna ended up joining the cast of Geordie Shore in series twelve, it was only a matter of time before the duo picked up where they left off.
What initially started as a ‘friends with benefits’ situation, Marty and Chloe were soon spotted hanging out together on a regular basis, and would often have a night out on the town together in classic Geordie Shore style.

The couple had a pretty volatile relationship; they had HUGE rows during their time together, and things got fairly physical between the couple on numerous occasions.
In 2016, Marty completely lost his cool and pushed Chloe and his former BFF Daniel Tuck in a nightclub, sending them smashing into a table before security stepped in.
And things didn’t get better for Marty from that point…
Arrest
In 2017, Marty McKenna was arrested and questioned on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
A total of 19 people were eventually questioned as part of a police crackdown on drug dealing in and around Newcastle’s city centre bars.
Officers had raided four Newcastle venues at the time of Marty’s arrest.
Police later confirmed that a man had been arrested in connection with the case:
“A 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs. He has been released under police investigation.”

Marty’s arrest caused immediate concern for Geordie Shore’s producers, who ended up suspending him from the show.
When Marty was suspended, Chloe quickly sent him packing- but the drama didn’t end there.
Ahead of their charity MMA match, Marty McKenna and Love Island’s Sam Gowland (who also happens to be an ex of Chloe’s) kicked off at a press conference.
Apparently it wasn’t until Chloe’s name was mentioned that the fight turned physical. Sam slapped Marty around the face, and the pair started throwing chairs at each other.
Chloe’s representatives refused to comment on the altercation.
Reunited
After his arrest and sacking, it seemed like Marty would never make a return to Geordie Shore. But earlier this year, it was announced that the reality star would be making a shock comeback as the show changed to a dating show format.
Friends close to Chloe were quick to say that Marty’s return would leave her stunned.
A source said:
“Chloe had no idea Marty was going to be coming into the Geordie Shore house.
She is newly single and this series has a dating twist, so she thinks she is going to just be coming face-to-face with new potential lovers – not old ones.
Marty going in will have been like setting off a bomb in the house.”

But things were much more amicable between the pair than expected. The former couple had a few cuddles, and chatted about their dating lives.
“I’ve just bounced in the house and I haven’t seen Chloe in f***ing ages and wow, she looks unreal.”
Marty later said:
“I haven’t come back into this house to get with Chloe. I’ve come back to have a laugh. But sometimes, I forget that she makes us laugh and how f***ing fit she is.”
