As Marina Pearl LeBlanc has gotten older, fans have been keen to find out more about her life with her famous dad.

Marina Pearl LeBlanc was born in 2004- right after Friends had finished. Sob.
She was born to parents Matt LeBlanc and his ex, Brit model Melissa McKnight.
Marina has been keeping a relatively low profile while she’s been completing her studies, and it’s assumed she’ll be jetting off to a top-tier college in the next year.
But the early years of Marina’s life were far from easy.
Matt realised there was a serious problem when his little girl kept tumbling on to her left side as she crawled.
Marina was diagnosed with cortical dysplasia before her first birthday, and regularly suffered from seizures. The condition also affected her vocal chords.

At this point, Matt LeBlanc decided to take a step back from acting while he concentrated all his efforts on Marina.
Speaking candidly to The Telegraph, the actor said:
“I didn’t feel like being funny. I had a lot going on in my personal life.
“I knew I wasn’t missing out on anything”.
Luckily, this dysplasia corrected itself as Marina got older, so she’s been able to live a normal life.
Matt was absolutely over the moon about this, and told The Mirror:
“Spending time with [Marina] is the best thing I’ve ever done. We have a great bond and it’s the best thing in my life.”
And it seems that no matter what, Marina Pearl LeBlanc is a daddy’s girl through and through.
“She can wrap me around her little finger,” he said. “I’m powerless.”
Growing Up
After the stresses of her early years, it’s great to see the family much more settled now.
While parents Matt and Melissa parted in VERY public circumstances (Matt had been accused of infidelity dontcha know) the former couple are now on good terms.
In a very un-Hollywood move, Matt didn’t hire a lawyer to negotiate his 2006 divorce from Melissa after three years of marriage. They pair sorted things out between them, and have joint custody of Marina Pearl LeBlanc.

Matt said:
“We make breakfast, go horseback riding, hiking, I really try to offset this computer age kid thing that’s going on now with as much time outside.”
It also seems that Marina was super into horses as a kid, but as she got older, she preferred to binge watch her favourite TV series- Friends, of course!
“It’s still on all the time, so we’ll stop and watch it if we’re channel surfing and it pops up.
She loves to ask me questions about it. She’ll say: ‘Was that real? Did you really eat that? What did that taste like? Ooh, you ate that off the floor? That’s gross! You’re so funny, Dad.”
What a cutie.
A-list Family
While Marina has managed to spend a surprising amount of time away from the cameras, it hasn’t been the same for her famous dad.
Matt LeBlanc ended up getting stuck into acting thanks to a former girlfriend, who introduced him to a casting agent.
He was soon starring in adverts for the likes of Heinz Ketchup and Levis, but it wasn’t enough for the budding actor.
