Kerry Katona Atomic Kitten: The feuds and the fights

She recently revealed that she was asked to appear on Love Island. And while Lilly is considering getting into TV at some point, reality dating shows are not for her.

Chatting with OK! Magazine, the teen said she turned down the opportunity to become an islander because  “it would be [my] worst nightmare to be seen loved-up with a stranger on telly.”

“It’s not a bit of me – not in a rude way, it’s a fun show – but if I was going to make a big TV debut, it would not be with Love Island

It’s not me. It’s no diss to Love Island or the people who go on there but I hate PDAs!”.

Dating Life

Earlier this year, Lilly-Sue McFadden gave fans an insight into her dating life- and it seems she’s not really keen on men right now.

Who is Frankie Gaff?

“Obviously, it’s been a weird adjustment, but I’m feeling good. I’m loving life. I’m 19 and have the rest of my life ahead of me, which is exciting.”

Kerry added:

“I think I’ve put Lilly off relationships for life, haven’t I, babe?”.

Lilly then joked:

“Yep! That’s something my mum taught me – don’t do men!”.

Famous Mum

It’s safe to say that Lilly-Sue McFadden’s mum has been no stranger to controversy over the years- especially when it comes to parenting.

A few years ago, Kerry Katona hit the headlines after she decided that Lilly could use meal replacement shakes to lose weight.

Her teen daughter was just 16 at the time.

Lilly revealed that her dramatic weight loss was down to walking, as well as Herbalife drinks.

Taking to Instagram, the teen wrote:

“So I’ve been on the shakes, raided @fitwithfrankie cupboard, started just doing shakes and whizzy teas for breakfast and felt more energy so started walking everywhere, being more active in general and I can’t believe the difference!!!!!!

Herbal life helped me through my exams with the long mornings and cramming in last minute late night revision!”.

Phillip Schofield Holly Willoughby: This Morning’s best moments

She revealed that it was Kerry who encouraged her to make the lifestyle changes, adding:

“Thanks to my mum and Frankie encouraging me to have a healthier breakfast rather than my usual cereal toast or cup of tea with sugar!”.

Unsurprisingly, Kerry Katona was later criticised on social media, and fans were worried for Lilly.

Meal replacement products are now hugely controversial, and have been connected to health issues.

They’re especially risky for teenagers, as they need more nutrients to let their bodies develop.

But Kerry hit back at her critics in her column for New! Magazine.

“I know it’s controversial, but I think the Herbalife protein shakes are actually good for you.

Lilly ate so much crap during her GCSEs and she wanted to feel better, so I told her to try the shakes along with eating healthy meals. She feels great now.”
