Laura Govan’s kids are beginning to win fans in their own right. And we can’t say we’re surprised- they’re absolute cuties.
The Basketball Wives star has been busy caring for her family, but the explosive breakdown of her relationship with former NBA star Gilbert Arenas has continued to dominate the headlines.

During their relationship, Laura Govan and Gilbert Arenas had four kids together; sons Aloni and Alijah, and daughters Hamiley and Izela.
Laura Govan’s kids make regular appearances in her Instagram grid, as well as the occasional appearance on the reality show Basketball Wives.
Their mum is pretty well known for her volatile celebrity status, and she originally joined the show because she was angry about having to raise her four babies by herself.

Laura was featured on the show for two years before leaving.
Speaking on Iyanla: Fix My Life, Laura said:
“I was angry.[With] my life. With my ex. I was angry. I remember just being bitter.
I remember I couldn’t wait to tell a story that I had sat in this house that was 15,000 square feet, with four babies, by myself. And I couldn’t…I couldn’t tell nobody. It was like I was drowning. I had everything and I had nothing.”
And it seems like this anger eventually came to a head between Laura and Gilbert…
Relationship Timeline
Laura Govan and Gilbert Arenas originally got engaged back in 2008, but their wedding never materialised.
Rumours were circling about how hostile their relationship was, and tongues were wagging about why the couple were putting off getting hitched.
The pair eventually split in 2014, which opened the floodgates to a LOT of drama.
Laura publicly accused her ex of giving her an STD; she was later sued by Gilbert for emotional distress.

She also accused him of kicking her out of their Los Angeles mansion and selling her $1 million engagement ring.
Shortly after that, Laura then accused Gilbert of starting a rumour claiming that her new bae Vincent Herbert had an affair with Laura while he and Tamar Braxton were together.
The former NBA star then publicly called Laura a “hoe”.
Nice to see them keeping things classy…
Fallout
Things continued to get worse between the former couple.
They began taking swipes at each other on social media at any opportunity they could get…
In the lengthy Instagram post, Gilbert ranted:
“I always read about what kind of dad I am but I’ve never posted about it so who’s telling yall. Let me guess the mother RIGHT I’m a Deadbeat??”.
He then went on to give the details of his custody agreement:
“I get my kids every #weds #everyotherweekend #jointcustody…
Each child has over 300k towards college… they have their own personal bank accounts, I put 10k each bday…
I also pay for their private schooling, meals, clothes, shoes, house, cars…I personally cover every aspect of my kids life.”
He went on to claim that Laura Govan spends most of her money on clothes for herself while their children look “like bums half the damn time”.

Laura retaliated as quickly as she could, and posted about how hard she works caring for their four kids.
In a snap of her and the kids in their car, Laura wrote:
“To all the REAL moms with no help Sleep Deprived and get up at 5.30am to work out before going to work or waking their children up!”. #ThatsAllForFreeMommiesKeepUrHeadUp”.
She later removed the caption completely, but she made her point.
Gloria and Gilbert have continued to deny the allegations made by Laura.
