He’s the rock star whose career has spanned decades- and Joe Walsh has had a fairly colourful love life along the way.
He’s had five wives in total, but it now seems that the former Eagles guitarist has settled down for good.

Before he became famous, Joe Walsh was dating his childhood sweetheart Margie. After the guitarist dropped out of college, the pair decided to tie the knot in the late 1960s.
They ended up separating as quickly as they got hitched, and Joe then moved on to second wife Stefany Rhodes.
The musician had just parted ways from his current band James Gang when Stefany fell pregnant. She gave birth to daughter Emma.
While all seemed to be going well for the couple, tragedy struck when Emma died in a car accident. She was just three years old.
It was an incredibly hard time for Joe and Stefany. The guitarist grieved for his daughter through his music, and released “Song for Emma” on his solo album later that year.

Things began to break down between the couple, and they separated in 1978.
Joe Walsh was a legendary musician at this point, and was dating plenty of women during his time with the Eagles.
He famously had a relationship with Fleetwood Mac’s Stevie Nicks, who’d described Joe as the “great love of my life”.
But their relationship was incredibly destructive.
In an interview with Telegraph, she recalled:
“He told my friend and singer Sharon [Celani], ‘I’m leaving Stevie, because I’m afraid that one of us is going to die. And the other one won’t be able to save the other person, because our cocaine habit has become so over the top now that neither of us can live through this.
So the only way to save both of us is for me to leave’.”
Other Marriages
Joe Walsh decided to settle down again two years after his marriage to Stefany, and got hitched with his new girlfriend Juanita Boyer.
The couple lived together eight years, but things weren’t meant to be. They split in 1988.
At this point, the guitarist took a bit of a break from married life. It wasn’t until 1999 that he married again, this time to Denise Driscoll. Their marriage lasted seven years before Joe Walsh divorced Denise.

But Joe admits he’s made mistakes over the years- especially when he was younger.
Speaking with the Rolling Stone he admitted:
“The worst part of success is that a lot of things come along with it that you didn’t really know you were gonna get in the package.
There are distractions: Money, drugs, women, partying. You get a royalty check, and you go get a new car, and then you party…It’s all ego stuff.
When you’re young it’s really easy to lose your perspective, which I did, really losing sight of who I was.”
