Jeremy McConnell used to hit the reality TV circuit pretty hard. He was also caught up in a fair few controversies during his time in the spotlight, which took its toll on his career.
So what is the former Celebrity Big Brother contestant doing now?

Jeremy McConnell: Chasing Fame
Jeremy McConnell first found fame after he started working as a model. He won the title of Mr. Dublin back in 2012, and went on to star in MTV’s Beauty School Cop Outs.
After building himself a following on Instagram, the aspiring reality star then appeared on Celebrity Big Brother. And this definitely raised Jeremy’s profile, but not in the way he would hope…
Jeremy quickly hit things off with Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Davis, who was dating model and Ex On The Beach star Sam Reece at the time. She went on to dump him while appearing on CBB, and jumped into an on/off relationship with Jeremy.

But the cracks soon started to appear, and the couple became embroiled in VERY public spats on social media.
The couple split after just three turbulent months together.

In July 2017, Stephanie Davis announced that she was pregnant, and insisted that Jeremy was the father.
The Irish reality star repeatedly denied this, and continued to make digs at Steph on social media. He went as far as demanding a paternity test, which he ended up doing live on This Morning.
It turned out that Jeremy was indeed the father, but it soon became clear that he wouldn’t be stepping up to raise his child.
Jeremy ended up jetted off to Thailand for a boozy holiday while Stephanie was giving birth.
This has led to the suggestion that Jeremy McConnell had “swanned away” from responsibility.

A source told The Mirror:
“It’s typical that Jeremy has swanned away from his responsibility as he has done throughout this pregnancy. You couldn’t write it.
The mother of his baby is giving birth any moment and he’s jetting off to Thailand on a boozy holiday. He has shirked responsibility throughout the whole process so we should hardly be shocked now.”
Just when it seemed that things couldn’t get worse between Jeremy and Stephanie, the former Mr. Dublin assaulted her.
Jeremy was found guilty of beating Stephanie up during a cocaine-fuelled row, which saw the star sentenced to 10 weeks in prison.
He was also investigated for sending Stephanie streams of messages on social media, which was a breach of his restraining order from her.
Moving On
After his time in prison, it seems that Jeremy has finally decided to clean up his act.
Jeremy has left the world of reality and now works as the UK director of transplant centre Hair of Istanbul.

And he says that spending Christmas Day behind bars in 2017 was the ‘wake up call’ he needed to set his life straight.
Speaking to The Sun, the former reality star said:
“I couldn’t get any lower,” says Jeremy.
“I had time to think and reflect on all my mistakes and the bad decisions I had made in my life, I just wanted to become the best version of me.
“Things had to change! I knew I needed time and the right environment to properly rehabilitate.”
Jeremy now also has another child called Storm with his lawyer girlfriend Katie McGrath, and the family seem settled and happy.
The former star admits he still struggles with his past, but focuses on his family and his job to get him through.
“I had to reset my mind and shift my focus, I have to avoid certain situations and adapt my lifestyle.”
