His dad was Roy Huggins, who starred in the likes of Maverick, The Fugitive and U.S. Marshals. Meanwhile, mum Adele Mara made appearances in the TV series such as The Adventures of McGraw, Conflict and The Millionaire.

While James Patrick Huggins and Penelope Ann Miller recently celebrated their twentieth wedding anniversary, they hit a bit of a bump back in 2012 when The Artist actress filed for separation.
The star cited “irreconcilable differences” as her grounds for the separation at an LA court, and for a while, it looked like the couple would be calling it quits.
But just as the paperwork went through, Penelope Ann Miller changed her mind. The couple pushed on with their marriage, and the actress redacted the separation request.

The reason for the separation has never been revealed by James and Penelope. And it wasn’t the first time Penelope had started legal proceedings against a husband of hers; she’d previously divorced Arrested Development star Will Arnett in the 1990s.
Just when it seemed that things were back to normal, James Patrick Huggins and Penelope Ann Miller ran into problems again in 2016.
The couple were estranged from each other for nearly a year after Penelope had called a restraining order against James in light of his drunken episodes. The actress had kept their daughters away from their dad as he worked on his alcohol addiction, but James’ drinking continued to spiral.
Penelope Ann Miller was granted a temporary restraining order, and requested supervised visitations between James and their children.
At this point, it seemed like their relationship was over. But the couple quietly fixed their problems out of the limelight, and they’ve now been together for 21 years.

While Penelope’s had a lot to deal with over the years, she hasn’t let it show.
The actress has worked in pretty much every genre out there. She started off in theatre, before working her way up to Broadway.
During her time on stage, she received a Tony Award nomination for Our Town in 1989.
