Jack P Shepherd wife: Is the Coronation Street star married?
Jack P Shepard’s love life at times seems even more complicated than that of his Coronation Street character David Platt’s. But does he have a wife?
Jack P Shepherd wife:
Jack P Shepherd was in a relationship with Lauren Shippey for fifteen years and she almost became his wife.
The former couple were together from 2002–2017 and have two children together.
Jack and Lauren, both 29, got together aged just 14 and practically grew up together.
Lauren gave birth to daughter Nyla in 2009, and son Reuben in 2013.
However, unfortunately things came to an end in 2017.
The couple had had their ups and downs, with (then) fiancee Lauren Shippey throwing him out back in 2011.
Lauren had called it quits after a DNA test revealed he was dad to a baby boy.
He fathered the child during one-night stand with sales executive Sammy Milewski, confirming he had been unfaithful.
It has been reported Jack’s biological son Greyson is not a part of his dad’s life, but the Corrie actor pays child maintenance after demanding a DNA test following his birth.
Jack P Shepherd engagement:
After the shock news, Jack successfully begged Lauren to take him back and become his wife, giving her a £3,000 engagement ring.
At the time a friend said: “Lauren understands Jack made a terrible mistake. Now he has made the ultimate statement that he wants to be with her for the rest of his life.”
However, just six years later, the couple called it quits.
Not much detail was given at the time, but a spokesman said: “Jack and Lauren remain the best of friends and their main focus is the care of their children.”
Jack P Shepherd girlfriend:
Not long after the split, Jack began dating his current girlfriend Hanni Treweek.
He and Hanni were introduced at a mutual friend’s wedding and later bumped into each other in a supermarket.
However, Hanni awkwardly made an exit thinking she “looked a mess” caught in her gym gear.
However, Jack thought differently!
He told the Mirror: “I texted her afterwards and said ‘that was awkward’ and she told me she thought she looked a mess and then we started texting from there. I actually thought she looked fit – I just saw the girl I fancy wearing Lycra! We quickly went on our first date and we just clicked.”
Hanni was just as fond of Jack, and loves his funny side.
She added: “He just made me laugh so much. Finding a guy who makes you crack up is so important.”
Jack and Hanni’s future:
While Hanni doesn’t have a ring on her finger just yet, Jack has vowed to make her his wife.
However, he said he didn’t want to “scare her off” by tying her down too early on.
He said: “We want to do all those big milestones like marry, have kids and buy a house, we’re just not quite there yet.”
Indeed, the couple have taken things super slow, waiting fourteen months to move in together.
Jack also waited a whole year before introducing Hanni to his children.
Meeting the family:
Speaking to OK! magazine Jack spoke about Hanni (who he intends to make his wife) meeting the kids.
He said: “We were together for about a year before they met. You don’t want to introduce a new partner to small children too soon. I was a bit apprehensive at first because I hadn’t introduced them to a girlfriend before. I was worried Hanni would end up like a Disney villain and would be seen as a horrible stepmum.”
However, this wasn’t the case at all and the kids took to Hanni straight away.
Jack said: “I wasn’t sure how it was going to go down but Nyla took to Hanni immediately – they both love fashion and make-up. Reuben liked her straight away too and they quickly started asking if Hanni would be there when I picked them up.”
Madly in love:
It’s safe to say Jack and Hanni appear madly in love, with the Corrie star often showing her off on his Instagram page.
Last month he shared some loved-up snaps from a romantic break in London.
Jack appeared to be spoiling Hanni by splashing the cash in an expensive restaurant.
Hanni gave Jack and adoring look in one of the snaps posted by the soap star on his Instagram.
The pair looked super-glam in another shot as they cuddled up for a mirror selfie together during a trip to The Ritz.
Hanni looked amazing in a black cutaway dress with heels, and Jack coordinated with his partner in black trousers, a white T-shirt and a smart shacket for their date night.
The snaps also included a trip to the Natural History Museum, they were in stitches over the final photo.
It showed the star at at Madame Tussauds, recreating the iconic bike scene from the iconic movie E.T.
Hanni lovingly commented: “The best time with youuuuu.”
