Helene Marla Kudrow is Lisa’s older sister. She is around three years older than her famous sibling, which makes her 61. Helene also happens to look exactly the same as Lisa!
Lisa’s sister now works as a visual artist and sculptor, but she also has a couple of TV gigs under her belt.
While the sisters aren’t actually twins, Helene has occasionally stepped in to play the role of Phoebe’s twin sister Ursula in Friends.
Helene also appeared in the TV sitcom Mad About You as Lisa’s body double.

While Lisa and Helene made quite the tag team when it came to filming scenes in Friends, Lisa actually found the process quite difficult.
Apparently she wasn’t a fan of filming with a double. And Lisa was doubly stressed as she was trying to keep an eye on her sister to make sure she was ok on set!

Exec producer Kevin S Bright revealed:
“Lisa really did not have a good time doing them. She did not like acting with a double, and in a way she might have made it more difficult for herself because her double was her actual sister, [Helena].
I think feeling the [stress] she put her sister into by being the double was more in her head at the time, so those scenes were a little bit tricky to shoot. But it ended up being a lot of fun when you put it together.”

While Helene prefers a life away from the cameras, sister Lisa Kudrow has got used to being in the public eye.
Her status skyrocketed when she turned Phoebe Buffay into an icon in Friends, and she’s gone on to score film roles in the likes of Easy A, The Boss Baby, and The Girl on the Train.

“It’s been 18 years, but the Joey thing still stings Matthew and the other cast members because it was the only time one of them went behind everybody else’s back and tried to break up the act.
Matthew didn’t bring it up at the reunion last year. But he’s ready to set the record straight and isn’t going to hold back.”
