Fred Di Blasio: Who is Lana Parilla’s ex-husband?
Fred Di Blasio is well known for being Once Upon a Time star Lana Parilla’s ex-husband. However, Fred has actually had a pretty interesting life and career. So who is Fred Di Blasio and what does he do?
Fred Di Blasio:
Fred’s full name is Alfred Di Blasio, and he was was born in Vancouver, British Colombia.
The Canadian tech whizz was born 9 November 1968, making him a Scorpio.
There is not much known about Fred’s early life and his family, as he prefers to keep his private life private.
However, we do know he grew up in Vancouver alongside his parents, and it is believed that Fred is an only child.
Fred hasn’t talked about having any siblings, so he could be an only child.
Accounts say young Di Blasio was a peaceful and shy boy who was always looking to improve his knowledge in many fields.

While the other high school kids went out partying and drinking, Fred stayed home.

Fred launched his career as soon as he graduated from college, and is today experienced in multiple fields.
Some of these fields include marketing, strategy, and acquisitions, but there are many more skills this man possesses.

One of the first jobs Fred had was for the Bell Cable Media communications company based in London.
Fred worked there for several years before he won a job at the AT&T group, and in 1997 became its Vice President.
Fred spent a total of five years with the AT&T before switching to TELUS Communication Company where he held the position of the Vice President as well.
In total he was part of the company for four years.
In 2007, Fred made yet another career move.
Fred was the president of Huron management until 2010, then in 2010, he started working for the SMC Networks.
Here, Fred became their chief strategy officer, and stayed with them for two years.
Current career:
After SMC Networks, Fred switched to INVIDI technologies, where he served as a senior vice president of their corporate development division.
Fred is still working for the INVIDI technologies, but has been promoted to the chief marketing officer.
Fred Di Blasio’s early Love life:
Fred is a man who prefers to keep his personal life away from the public eye. However, after he married Lana Parrilla, many details about his love life and former wife were revealed.
Fred’s first wife was named Shannon Cooney, and the two wed at the beginning of the ‘90s.
Accounts have said the couple were crazy in love at the time, and their marriage lasted many years.
Fred and Shannon have three children together.
Their first son Jack was born 31 May 1996, followed by Patrick, born 11 October 1999, and finally a third son, born13 July 2001.
Fun fact! All of the boys are interested in music and were part of the “45 Spacer” rock band.
The boys could have been seen performing on TV playing in the “Once Upon a Time” TV series.
The date of Fred and Shannon’s divorce is not known, but it is said to be in 2009.
Fred’s ex-wife Lana Parrilla:
Fred Di Blasio and Lana Parrilla met in 2012, three years after Fred’s divorce. The couple totally hit it off and began dating shortly afterwards.
The two are worlds apart with Lana being a famous actress.
Lana is best known for her role of The Evil Queen or Regina Mills in the “Once Upon a Time” TV series, but has also starred in Miami Medical and a whole host of sitcoms from the early 2000s.
Lana and Fred must have fell fast as only a year passed until the software whiz asked Ms Parrilla to marry him.
With travelling being Fred’s main hobby, it is no surprise he proposed to Lana while they were exploring Israel.
The engagement was made official on 28 April 2013.
The wedding took place on 5 July 2014, but it was a rather modest affair for someone as high profile as Lana the TV star!
The two made sure to only invite the closest of friends and family.
Fred and Lana lead what looked to be a very happy life together.
However, a few years short years later it became clear that there was trouble in paradise.
On 13 April 2019, Lana uploaded a picture onto her Instagram account stating that she is no longer a married woman.
