It’s safe to say that Finn Cole and his brother Joe are doing pretty well for themselves these days.
Finn Cole has been busy in everything from Fast and Furious 9 to the BBC adaptation of An Inspector Calls, but Joe is enjoying his own share of success too!

Joe Cole has been doing pretty well in his acting career so far- and he’s appeared in a fair few shows you’ll recognise.
He’s most famous for his time on Peaky Blinders, where he played John Shelby, the younger brother of Thomas Shelby.
His time on the show brought him huge fame, but he decided to leave after three seasons.
So why did Joe part ways with the show?
In an interview with The Evening Standard, Joe revealed:
“With Peaky Blinders I never really got out of the gates in that role. It’s Cillian’s show really…
I actually chose to leave Peaky Blinders because I wanted to explore new avenues, and new characters and new stories.”

Joe featured in one episode of Black Mirror in 2017, and played Sean Wallace in Gangs of London. He’s also appeared in two episodes of Skins and Come Fly With Me, and played Charlie in Channel 4 comedy Pure.
Joe’s film work includes A Prayer Before Dawn, Offender, A Long Way Down, and Now Is Good.
And if that wasn’t enough, Joe is playing Iver Iversen in Against The Ice, which premiered on Netflix earlier this year.
Sibling Rivalry?
Both Finn and Joe have got some impressive acting credits to their name- and it seems there’s some (friendly) sibling rivalry going on!
During Joe’s recent appearance on The One Show, host Lauren Laverne asked Joe whether there was any banter between him and his brother over Peaky Blinders.

She helpfully pointed out that Joe had appeared in the Cillian Murphy drama until 2017. However, it turned out that Finn’s return to the role of Michael Gray, would be broadcast at the same time Joe will feature in the new ITV series as Harry Palmer.
“Your real-life brother is now in the show which also airs on Sunday evening at the same time as your new show,” Lauren began. “Bit of a family dilemma.”
Joe then joked:
“Yeah… this is my opportunity now, where’s the camera?
“Mum and dad, if you’re watching, The Ipcress File, ITV, 9pm. There we go.”
In Sync
Joe’s been steadily building up his portfolio of TV and film work over the years, and brother Finn has been doing exactly the same thing!
Finn Cole got his first acting job thanks to his brother, who helped him land a small role in An Inspector Calls. Since then, Finn has had a hugely successful career, and has starred in the likes of Animal Kingdom, Slaughterhouse Rulez and Here Are the Young Men.
He’s also made appearances in the ITV crime drama Lewis.

And just like his brother, Finn has also had a pivotal role on Peaky Blinders, where he plays Michael Gray.
He joined the cast of the show in series two. And it’s been a bit of a wild ride for his character so far…
Michael went from being one of the most powerful characters on the show to being cast aside from the Shelby business. And now that series six is in full swing, it’s going to be interesting to see how things pan out for him…
“It’s very exciting” Finn said. “I can’t wait to get back to work and for the fans to see it because they’ve been waiting so patiently for so long now.”
