Faye Brookes is best known for her time playing Kate Connor on the legendary soap, Coronation Street. But who is Faye Brookes’ partner?
Faye Brookes:
Faye Brookes is a 34 year old actress from Stretford, UK, who first appeared on British soap Coronation Street back in 2015.
Faye’s performance as barmaid and restaurant manager Kate Connor went incredibly well, and she went on to win Best Newcomer in 2017 at the National Television Awards.
However, just two years later, the actress chose to leave Corrie behind.
Faye Brookes and Gareth Gates:
Faye started out in musical theatre before TV, which is where she met her ex-fiancé, Gareth Gates, of Pop Idol fame.
She spoke out about their love story in an interview with Manchester Evening News in October 2015.
She said: “From the moment I met him he was writing songs for me… it’s beautiful.”
Faye claimed their relationship was ‘like no other’ and said she needed to keep them ‘well-protected’.
With both Faye Brookes and Gareth Gates being keen performers, they set up their own stage school together.
The school was names Fates Academy, set up at the University Technical College (UTC) at MediaCityUK in 2017.
The relationship then hit a rocky patch the following year when they split for the first time.
Gareth Gates explained that he and Faye were “choosing to take some time apart” while remaining “best friends”.
Just months later they were back together again.

Faye Brookes engagement:
Gareth Gates and Faye Brookes quickly took their relationship to the next level in January 2019 when the pop star proposed to Faye.
However, it did not last as the couple called it quits just a few months later.
Faye Brookes quickly dusted herself off and moved on, taking up some new theatre projects and even taking part in the 2021 series of Dancing On Ice.
However, she also has found a new man.
Faye is now is loved-up with her beau, personal trainer Joe Davies.
They went public with their romance in December 2019 and are currently renovating a period property together.

Faye and Joe quickly got comfortable and spent lockdown together at his parent’s coastal home in 2020.
They then moved into Faye’s Manchester flat together.
Faye has publicly shared her admiration for Joe on her social accounts.
On their first anniversary wrote to Instagram: “I honestly believe I’m a better person just being near you my love. Thank you for loving me that way you do.”
Faye Brookes wedding:
Fans now suspect that the actress and fitness mogul may be planning their wedding.
Just weeks ago, the couple sparked secret wedding rumours after eagle-eyed fans believed they spotted Faye wearing a wedding ring.
The actress uploaded a series of snaps of the pair enjoying a luxury yacht whilst on holiday.
Rumours of them tying the know have also been fouled by Faye following a string of wedding suppliers on Instagram including dress designer Martina Liana, Spence and Oliver bridal hair and make-up and stationery supplier The Bridal Paprie.
This isn’t the first time the pair have sparked wedding rumours.
They previously sparked rumours of walking down the aisle when in December 2021 Faye uploaded an image of herself dressed in a white gown cuddling up with Joe, who was dressed in a fancy suit.
She captioned the post: “Counting down the days to another magical Christmas with this one…”
At the time her fans were convinced she has got hitched and rushed to comment.
One wrote: “Married??? I see rings??”
Another said: “Oh WOW!! Congratulations.”
Faye Brookes now:
While there had been no official news of wedding bells just yet, Faye is still incredibly busy with her work.
Although she is no longer on TV, Faye is still acting, and is most recently played the iconic role of Roxie Hart in the Chicago UK tour.
However, most recently Faye shared a need to slow down in life, opening up about some troubling times in her life.
“Lifequake. Definition; An event that suddenly changes your life – a car accident, a terrible illness, or losing a loved one – in the same dramatic way that an earthquake might destroy a building. Well … here’s the truth of it all. I have faced around three Lifequakes in less than three months and apparently it takes a good 6 months to get over just one… You never know what people are going through. So for anyone who is going through some sort of struggle, a difficult time, feeling like their climbing a constant uphill battle… Give yourself time. Allow yourself to feel, Know that it will be okay. It might not be right now. But it will be. Eventually.”
And she signed off by saying: “Until then, be kind, give others grace, have faith and stay true to you.”
As messages poured in from well-wishers Faye said: “This post isn’t for attention.”
