Eminem Girlfriend: The Rapper’s Dating History

He’s had a stellar rap career over the years, but Eminem’s dating life hasn’t been quite as successful.
After a string of relationships and a marriage that didn’t quite work out, it seems that the rapper is staying single- for now at least.
Let’s look back at his dating history…
Trust Issues
Eminem, also known as Marshall Mathers, doesn’t seem keen about getting back on the dating circuit right now.
Opening up to the Rolling Stone, the rapper said he finds it quite difficult to find someone who he can trust:
“I mean, I’d like to be in a relationship again someday. Who doesn’t? It’s just hard to meet new people, in my position.
I have trust issues. With women, friends, whatever. You always wonder what their real motives are.”
He added:
“I’ve got a small circle of friends, and it’s a lot of the same friends I’ve known forever. Right now, that works for me.”

Marriage
Eminem and Kim first got together way back in high school in 1989. Kim moved in with Eminem’s mother and his sister after they ran away from home, and they had their daughter Hailie in 1995.
Their on/off relationship was pretty turbulent, but they pushed on and got married in 1999. But this was fairly short lived, and they divorced just two years later. Then they remarried, and then split again. You get the idea.
Eminem took repeated verbal shots at Kim in his music; he rapped about killing her, and spoke of her infidelities and drug use.
After the rapper released his song “Kim”, Kim Scott took Eminem to court to try and stop him from rapping about her, and sought $10million in compensation for ‘the intentional infliction of emotional distress’.

But the rapper wouldn’t stop, and Kim’s mental health deteriorated.
She has attempted suicide on numerous occasions- her latest in August 2021 after her twin sister passed away.
Neither Eminem nor their daughter Hailie have spoken publicly about it so far.
Eminem Girlfriend: Past Relationships
The rapper is now very private about his dating life, so it’s not clear if Eminem has actually been dating lanyone other than his ex-wife Kimberly.
But before he got married, the star was linked to a few famous beauties, including actress Brittany Murphy, who played the character of Kim in the movie 8 Mile.
According to Distractify, Murphy appeared to confirm a relationship in an appearance on the David Letterman show. “Was there romance off the screen?” the host asked. “Yeah, yeah sure,” Brittany said, adding, “It came and it went.”
Things got much more controversial between Eminem and one of his other alleged loves, Mariah Carey, and they had a couple of very public spats.

The rapper once admitted:
“Yes, me and Mariah did have a relationship for about a good six, seven months, but it didn’t work. I wasn’t really into what she was into; our personalities collided.”
But Mariah wasn’t having any of it, and insisted that there was no romance between her and Eminem.
The singer told Larry King:
“I talked to him (Eminem), I spoke to him a few times, whatever. But in terms of me having an intimate relationship? With men, I can name them all on one hand, and he’s not one of them.
I hung out with him, I spoke to him on the phone. I think I was probably with him a total of four times. And I don’t consider that dating somebody.”
There’s also been whispers that Eminem has dated everyone from Nicki Minaj to adult film actress Ginger Lynn. However, these reports have been unconfirmed- and his “relationship” with Nicki Minaj was apparently a publicity stunt.
