She turned six in 2021, and she now has a younger sister. On September 13 2019 Delilah Knightley Righton was born, making her currently 1 year old. And, making Edie Knightley Righton a big sister.
Meet the parents
The famous parents met in 2011 at a dinner party. They were reported to have been introduced through their mutual friend Alexa Chung, the fashion correspondent. And so, after hitting it off the pair started dating. And now, the couple has been married a very happy 8 years together.

The Wedding Day
Then, on May 4th, 2012 they exchanged their vows in a very intimate wedding in the south of France. The big day took place at a town hall in Mazan in front of only 11 guests.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star had her reception at her mother’s house, in a marquee erected in the garden. The day was a very private and family-orientated affair. Around 40 guests attended their party including the famous actress Sienna Miller and other famous faces. But, mainly the service was for very close friends and family of the two famous stars.

Very recently the news has emerged that the Bend it Like Beckham actress was dropping her famous last name. The decision has come 8 years after their marriage.
The decision isn’t spontaneous and is something she’s considered for years but has never committed to taking the step.
It comes after Keira submitted documents to Companies House registering the change in her surname late last month.
Keira said that six years ago she was considering making the move but was too scared to go through with it and lose her iconic last name. Because it is her name, that has become her famous identity.

‘I went to do the passport thing,’ she explained, ‘I was thinking, ‘Shall I do it? It will be helpful.’
‘But you actually have to see it written down, and I found I couldn’t do it. I couldn’t go there.’
It seems a couple of years later she has finally made the decision to change her name to her husband’s. But, the children take both names: Edie Knightley Righton and Delilah Knightley Righton. This is so that the children equally share both their mother’s name and their father’s name.
Kiera Knightley’s Career Sacrifices
Recently the brunette star gave up a big opportunity. She was offered the role to work on a new series. It involved a starring role in upcoming period drama The Essex Serpent alongside Tom Hiddleston on AppleTV+. However, the opportunity itself was a commitment of around four and a half months work. Which, would inevitably have meant this time was spent away from home working.
