We know that quite a few of Caitlyn Jenner’s kids enjoy the limelight- but there’s one family member that generally prefers life away from the cameras.
Despite being a bit of an outcast with the Kardashians, Burt Jenner is still super close to Caitlyn- and the pair always have a smile on their faces!
So what do we know about Caitlyn Jenner’s oldest son?

Burt Jenner
Burt is a 41-year-old race car driver and the son of Caitlyn and his former wife, Chrystie Crownover, an actress and flight attendant. He’s thought to have been named after his late uncle, who was killed in a car accident just a few days before his birth.
Caitlyn was known as Bruce Jenner at the time, and was at the height of fame as a pro athlete. Bruce and Chrystie welcome Burt into the world during their marriage, but the couple’s relationship was already on the rocks.

Chrystie ended up giving birth to one more child during her marriage with Bruce- Cassandra, who is now 41. But Cassandra’s arrival wasn’t enough to save Bruce and Chrystie’s marriage, and they divorced in 1981.
Bruce’s love of sport naturally rubbed off on son Burt- and it didn’t take long for him to find his passion…
Race Car Driving
Burt Jenner originally wanted to become a professional downhill skier. But after watching his dad race cars professionally in the International Motor Sports Association, racing soon became Burt’s new obsession.
Speaking with Fox Sports, Burt said:
“I grew up watching Dad drive, and people don’t realise how good he was and I was hooked. That’s what I wanted to do.”
But Burt Jenner’s attempts to start a career through racing schools didn’t work out. So he turned his attention to high-tech simulator rating- until he auditioned for the NBC reality show Octane Academy.

“I spent nine hours standing in line, and I knew I only had one chance; I was 34 and the age limit was 35.
They started you out on a course of cones, and if you passed that, you had a chance to drive some laps in a Mustang. If you did well there, they told you they might call.
So I tried to forget about it, but I was thrilled when I got that call.”
Caitlyn Jenner’s son ended up winning the show, and has since gone on to become a pro at both race car driving and truck driving. You can take a look at his skills over on his YouTube channel.
He also owns a doggie day care in Los Angeles called West LA Dogs.
As for his personal life? Burt has two children -William Behr and Bodhi- who he shares with his girlfriend, Valerie Pitalo. And they are absolutely adorable!
Famous Family
While Burt has generally stayed out of the spotlight over the years, he’s made the occasional appearance on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Caitlyn Jenner’s show I am Cait.

But Burt says that Caitlyn’s participation in the Kardashian show hurt their relationship.
Speaking with The Washington Post, the race car driver said:
“I think the nail in the coffin for the relationship was the beginning of the TV show.
There was a you-aren’t-part-of-this kind of thing. Kris made the choice to make a good TV show that was in their image and brand.”
But since Caitlyn’s transition, the pair are closer than ever.
“Because I think he’s realised that family means a lot to him. Just like anybody else in life, all you got is family. So, that’s brought us much closer,” Burt told Entertainment Tonight. He added that Caitlyn “is a better person. Honesty is always the building block for any relationship, and at least we have that now.”
