Billie Eilish TikTok: What Do We Know About The Benny Blanco Drama?

It took Billie Eilish until late 2020 to finally get onto TikTok. Now, the star has close to 40 million followers on the app, despite not posting much.

However, this week Billie Eilish did something nobody expected her to – and that’s joining in with some TikTok drama.

If you don’t know what’s gone down, here’s the full story of Billie Eilish’s TikTok drama with Benny Blanco and Charlie Puth.

Billy Eilish’s TikTok Drama

This story doesn’t start with Billie Eilish but with singer Charlie Puth and producer Benny Blanco.

Charlie has recently become a bonafide TikTok star, with viral videos charting how he makes his popular hits. He’s amassed thousands of followers thanks to his videos, but there’s one person who isn’t a fan – and that’s Benny Blanco.

Starting in late 2021, Benny Blanco started mocking Charlie on TikTok, even calling him a “f****** loser”.

In November, Charlie addressed Benny directly in a video, saying: “You know, man, these videos were really funny at first. I don’t exactly know why you’ve been so mean to me these past couple of months, but it does genuinely hurt my feelings. I used to look up to you, and I don’t know where all this is coming from.”

In response, Benny said: “Look at you: You sit in a room all day and make TikToks. Dude, what the hell’s wrong with you?”

What neither star expected at this moment is for Billie Eilish to get in on the TikTok drama.

Earlier this month, she posted a video featuring Benny’s takedown of Charlie, only for it to cut to Billie telling him exactly what was happening.

In response, Billie said: What do you do all day, Benny?

The same thing. Literally, the same thing.”

Charlie didn’t miss Billie Eilish’s TikTok – he appeared shortly later in the comments with a simple “Thank you.”

Billie Eilish TikTok: Controversy

Elsewhere on her TikTok, Billie Eilish has also caused controversy – especially for some NSFW content.

In June, she posted a video of outtakes from her ‘Lost Cause’ video. In the TikTok, Billie performs choreography with her backing dancers wearing a very revealing t-shirt and shorts.

Throughout the video, she experiences a fair few dramatic wardrobe malfunctions, which she carefully hides with emojis.

Another video that has caused some shock was more random. Bille Eilish’s TikTok showed the star eating, with the caption “album out in less than a month.”

Shortly before the video ends, though, Billie shocks viewers by announcing “Who wants to eat me out?”

Some of her fans appeared shocked and expressed their distaste in the comments. But as any fan will know, Billie isn’t somebody to shy away from drama.

We think she’ll continue to post whatever she chooses, no matter the reaction it gets.

Billie Eilish Racism

June 2021 was a tricky month for Billie Eilish as far as social media went. As well as posting NSFW videos on her TikTok, older videos came to light which appeared to show Billie making derogatory comments.

The video was made when Billie Eilish was just 13 or 14 and shows Billie singing along to Tyler, the Creator’s song ‘Fish’, including a section where Tyler uses a racist slur. Another clip in the edited video allegedly shows Billie Eilish mocking Asian accents.

Understandably, the singer got heat for the video, with many fans demanding an explanation.

In response, the singer posted a lengthy apology on Instagram. In the address, she denied being a racist and said that she didn’t know what the racist slur meant when she used it.

She said: “I love you guys, and many of you have been asking me to address this. And this is something that I WANT to address because I’m being labeled something that I am not.

I am appalled and embarrassed and want to barf that I ever mouthed along to that word. Regardless of my ignorance and age at the time, nothing excuses the fact is that it was hurtful. And for that I am sorry.”

Billie also said that the video allegedly showing the singer mimicking an Asian accent was simply Billie speaking in a “silly gibberish made up voice.”

Billie explained: “It is absolute gibberish and just me goofing around and is in NO way an imitation of anyone or any language, accent or culture in the SLIGHTEST.”
