Season 14 of Married at First Sight is underway, and fans are glued to the tales of five Boston-based couples who relationship experts have paired together for blind weddings.
One of those hopeful romantics was Alyssa Ellman, who was paired with Chris. She is a 30-year-old social media marketing specialist who is also dedicated to rescuing animals.

However, it didn’t take long for the cracks to show. In the first episode of season 14, Alyssa chose not to share a hotel room with Chris on their wedding night – but why?

Later, as the couple sat down for a chat with Pastor Cal Roberson – the wise mediator and advice-giver – Alyssa spoke up about what was really going on here.
She said: “When I first saw him I was like, OK, I don’t think that that’s, like, my physical type. And I think that was, like, when I first started to be like, ‘Oh my God. What did I get myself into?'”
According to Alyssa, she heard some red flags from Chris’ friends and family at the wedding and was convinced that their lifestyles weren’t compatible.
Chris, on the other hand, couldn’t understand why Alyssa wasn’t open to trying to make it work. He claimed:
“Alyssa, from the wedding night, has no interest in being married to me. She says that we’re not compatible. She’s used the phrase robbed … And it started the night of the wedding.”
What Happened To Alyssa and Chris?
So, what happened to the couple after Alyssa’s outburst to Pastor Cal?
Well, as Alyssa broke down in tears, Chris said that it could be his “decision day”. What does Alyssa from Married at First Sight think now? Does she want to stay married to Chris?

They had only been married for 11 days, but already Alyssa’s hesitation was too much for the marriage.
Later, Alyssa expressed her disappointment at not finding her true love, but said she was still happy to have participated in the show:
“I wanted to be a part of this experiment because I wanted to find my person and I thought this would help me do that.
I’ve been ready for my person for a long time and I couldn’t find them myself, so I was hoping this would help me do that.”

Chris Married At First Sight: Where Is He Now?
Lindsey and Mark’s marriage might have started off fine, but issues are starting to reveal themselves. After their honeymoon, they managed to get into a huge fight on a group date with the other couples.
Chris now seems to have woken up to their vastly different personalities, while Lindsay doesn’t believe Chris is the man for her.
In a recent episode, she said: “Tell me one other wife that would deal with this s*** and that would be okay with supporting you through this s***.”
We’ll have to wait and see whether Lindsay and Chris’ tumultuous relationship ends in divorce – but right now it’s not looking good.
