And he also starred as Sam Malone in NBC’s sitcom Cheers. The Hollywood figure also played Jack Holden in the well-known films Three Men and a Baby and Three Men and a Little Lady. And he played John Becker in the well-loved CBS sitcom named Becker.
18 times he has been nominated for the Primetime Emmy Awards, and he has even won them twice. He has also won three Golden Glow Awards and has been nominated an impressive 11 times.
Casey Coates
Casey Coates is well known for being the second wife of the TV star Ted Danson. But let’s look at who the adoptive mother really is.
Coates was born in 1938 and raised in Long Island, New York.

Whilst Casey was birthing her daughter Kate, she suffered a stroke. Her husband, who had a movie booked at the time was supposed to be shooting for the next few months. But, he canceled it to be at home caring for his wife. Thankfully, Casey and her daughter Kate were fine. They both made a full recovery.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t all happy families from there on. The couple did not stay together. They divorced after being together for years as a family.
Ted Danson’s 3 Wives
It’s safe to say that the Television star has not had a smooth love life. It has been pretty tumultous. Infact, he’s had 3 wives in total.
Danson married his first wife Randy in 1970. It lasted 5 years before the divorce.

Casey was Ted’s second wife. Then, the pair got divorced, sources claim, because of the actor’s affair with Whoopi Goldberg whilst he was married to Casey. After two failed marriages, 73-year-old Danson decided to move on with his love life. In 1995 he wedded singer-songwriter, Mary Steenburgen. They had met in 1993 on the set of the movie called Pontic Moon.
