Rod Stewart may be something of a rock legend, but he’s a family man at heart.
The singer now spends most of his time with his wife Penny Lancaster and his eight children. And while the majority of Rod’s children are now grown up, his two youngest boys are still in his charge, including Alastair Wallace Stewart.
Let’s get the lowdown on Rod’s second youngest son.
Alastair Wallace Stewart
Alastair Wallace Stewart was born back in 2005 to parents Rod and Penny, and is now sixteen years old.
Unlike some of his older siblings, Alastair generally stays out of the limelight. But on occasion, he’s pictured with his dad, or his older brothers Sean and Liam.
Rod shares a few insights into his family life on Instagram, and Alistair can be seen posing with his dad on cute family weekends at their mansion in Essex.
In a recent snap, the Do Ya Think I’m Sexy? singer told fans:
“Wishing you all a lovely weekend from me and two of my sons Liam and Alastair.”

Alastair has been spotted at a few Celtic games with his dad over the years, and he’s reportedly a very keen swimmer.
Back in 2017, dad Rod was singing Alastair’s praises when it comes to swimming. And he even insisted that he was going to build a large swimming pool at their mansion so his son can train for the Olympics!
Rod gushed:
He is a great swimmer. His Mum loves swimming and wants him to be a champion swimmer.”
Alastair’s mum Penny chipped in:
“Alastair is an amazing swimmer – he inherits that from my side – and gets up four times a week at 5.30 am to swim before school.
His goal, he says, is to swim in the Olympics. He’s also obsessed with football. He almost sleeps with his football boots”.

While Alastair takes a backseat when it comes to his fame, his older sister Kimberly has been doing quite the opposite!
Kim is Rod’s second eldest child, and was born during his first marriage to model and actress Alana Stewart. She was raised jointly by her parents until they split in 1984.
