Coleen has had to battle with being followed by paparazzi since she was only 16 years old, after Rooney was thrust into the spotlight after an Everton game, and now everyone was clamouring for that perfect picture of Coleen. She was even followed out of school, with the first picture being of her in her school uniform.
2. The reality of the cheating scandal

One of the biggest things the documentary addresses is the notorious cheating scandal, which began with that photo of Wayne behind the wheel with another woman. Although Wayne stated he never slept with the woman, it was the catalyst for Coleen to begin doubting their marriage again.
3. The leaks from her private Instagram

The very first leak was after Wayne Rooney was caught drink driving, and it was the first of many leaks. The revelation also included the fact that Rooney had been in the car with a woman who wasn’t Coleen. Instagram posts of her staying with her family, wishing Wayne a Happy Birthday, and photos of the family in bed, were also leaked.
4. She called out a snitch years before she knew who it was

Coleen worked out very early on that someone was leaking her private posts, and she tried to call them out before even knowing who it was. She used her social media to directly talk to the ‘snitch’ by posting call-outs in the hope they would stop if they knew that she knew… it didn’t work.

The newspaper Coleen’s private business was being leaked to was The Sun, which is viewed on negatively by most Liverpudlians because of its history. For this reason, Coleen didn’t believe the snitch could be anyone from her home town of Liverpool – so she had to look further afield.
6. Coleen started releasing fake stories to try and catch the leak

In a bid to catch the snitch in a trap, Coleen began posting fake stories she knew the press would like to publish. This included her going to Mexico to try and select the gender of her next baby. Vardy was the only one who had viewed the story before Coleen had removed it – so when it ended up in the newspaper, only Vardy could have done it.
7. She had no idea Vardy was getting paid for them

When Coleen eventually found out that Rebekah Vardy was the one leaking the information, she didn’t think she would be getting paid for it, just that Vardy was looking to be in the good books of the newspaper for better coverage. She only found out Vardy was actually being paid during the trial.
8. And Vardy even tried to gaslight Coleen

Vardy herself wasn’t keeping quiet in the shadows when Coleen was trying to find the snitch – Vardy tried to deter Coleen by messaging her directly about it and acting as though she had Coleen’s back. She also tried to gaslight Coleen into thinking there wasn’t a snitch, and that her account had been hacked by the paper instead.

Another story Coleen made up to be leaked was that there was a literal leak in the house’s basement. The story was convincing enough that Wayne Rooney, who had seen the story be published, had to call from abroad to check that everything was okay with the new house.
