Harvey Dwight Kinkle was the adorable love interest of teenage witch, Sabrina, who also won our hearts, too. He played her high school romance for several years as the show ran, and the role of Harvey was actually the actor, Nate Richert’s, debut acting role on screen.

These days, Nate is known for being a musician as well as an actor, and he went on to have roles in Fantasy Island, Home Work and Touched by an Angel. Now 45 years old, the actor has been married since 2019, but his wife has recently filed for divorce.

There has been no on-screen talking animal to match the legend that is Salem the Cat, whose comedy knew no bounds, and whose mission to take over the world saw the original witch cursed to live as a cat – and live with the Spellmans, which isn’t too bad a punishment.

The iconic voice of Salem the cat was Nick Bakay, and he was also a writer on the show as well as providing voice acting. He went on to have other writing roles, including Two and a Half Men, and Paul Blart: Mall Cop. The American actor and comedian has been married since 1994.

5. Jenna Leigh Green (Libby) THEN

There’s always a Libby in high school dramas, and in Sabrina, Libby served as the nemesis of our heroine protagonist. Often seen as the bully and the typical ‘popular kid’, Libby also battled for the affection of heartthrob Harvey. She was also head cheerleader – because of course she was!

6. Jenna Leigh Green NOW

Actress Jenna Leigh Green has also voiced episodes of Extreme Ghostbusters, and has had roles in Gossip Girl, Magnum P.I. and The Loudest Voice, to name a few. These days, now 49 years old, she’s also toured with the show Wicked, and appears to be enjoying the single life!

7. Martin Mull (Willard) THEN

Willard Kraft was seen as the villain of the show, even more so than bully Libby, as he started out as vice principal of Sabrina’s high school, before eventually becoming principal in later seasons. He was constantly trying to make life hard for Sabrina, and the students of the school.

Actor Martin Mull has had a long career in acting, and he also works as a painter and a musician. He’s appeared in other shows including Two and a Half Men and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Now 80 years old, the actor is married and has one child – and you can even buy his paintings at auction!

9. Soleil Moon Frye (Roxie) THEN

Roxie King came on the show as one of Sabrina’s college roommates. Although she first comes off as a bit broody, her and Sabrina become fast friends. Roxie is also the host of a chat show, which she uses as a platform for the causes she cares about, including feminism and animal rights.

10. Soleil Moon Frye NOW

Actress Soleil Moon Frye has also appeared in shows like Friends, Punky Brewster and Robot Chicken. One of her most well known roles has been Zoey on The Proud Family, which she reprised for Louder and Prouder. She was recently married to Jason Goldberg, but the pair split in 2022.

11. Elisa Donovan (Morgan) THEN

Morgan Cavanaugh was another of Sabrina’s college roommates, and came off as a little more vain and shallow than Roxie. Eventually, though, her and Sabrina become best friends, too, and the three roommates would go on to all live together in the Spellman household.

Actress Elisa Donovan appeared on the big screen in Clueless before her role in Sabrina, and after the teen show, she also appeared in NCIS, The Lake and In Gayle We Trust. She also reprised her role from Clueless with Alicia Silverstone for the 2023 Super Bowl commercial.

13. Lindsay Sloane (Valerie) THEN

Valerie was Sabrina’s best friends in the early seasons of the show, and the friend we remember the most! Valerie was shy and awkward, which made her all the more endearing, and wanted nothing more than to be part of the ‘cool’ crowd, with Sabrina often working to build her confidence.

Lindsay Sloane went on to continue her acting career, including roles in Bring It On, That ’70s Show and Horrible Bosses. Now 46 years old, the actress has also been married to Dar Rollins since 2004, who is an agent for International Creative Management, and the pair have two children together.

15. Caroline Rhea (Aunt Hilda) THEN

Aunt Hilda was definitely the comedian of the Spellman household, and the more laid back of Sabrina’s two aunts. Hilda was the more quirky one – with the quirkier fashion sense – and definitely fulfilled the role as the more ‘likeable’ parent compared to the stern Zelda!

16. Caroline Rhea NOW

Hilda’s actress Caroline Rhea went on to have further acting success in movies including Christmas with the Kranks and The Perfect Man, as well as voice acting for Phineas and Ferb. She also reprised her role as Hilda in the reboot of the show, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

Though she may have been more stern than Aunt Hilda, Zelda was still beloved by viewers and her niece alike. She was the more stylish and introverted of the two sisters when it came to fashion, and she’s also the more ‘mature’ parent figure, as well as having a keen talent in science.

Sabrina was our favourite witch (and TV character) growing up, and she cast a spell on us all! We watched as she navigated the realities of high school life while also dealing with the fact she had otherworldly powers – and a pretty impressive closet.
