Chandler and Janice gave us many scenes of hilarity, but we were the ones saying ‘OH. MY. GOD’ when he took it so far as to pretend to be moving to Yemen just to get away from her. Then, of course, she goes to the airport to see him off… so he resorts to asking an old lady if he can live with her when they get there. Classic Chandler.
2. The One With Chandler In A Box

It’s a testament to his character that even stuck in a box with few lines, he’s still one of the funniest on the show. Remember when Chandler stayed in a box for several hours after kissing Kathy to earn Joey’s forgiveness? Those moments of seeing his fingers poke through the holes were TV gold.
3. The One Where He’s Handcuffed

Who can forget that weird hook-up Chandler had with Rachel’s boss, when she finds him handcuffed in her office. To make the scene better, when Chandler pulls the drawer open and hits his head, it was completely by accident – and Matthew Perry played it off like a pro.
4. The One With The Hypnotism Tape

Ah yes, a reminder that Friends was filmed back in a time when there was more ‘issues’ with gender roles, but anyway, back to Chandler. He tries to quit smoking with a hypnotism tape Rachel gives him – but the tape is made for women, so Chandler becomes more ‘feminine’ as a result.
5. The One Where He Calls Phoebe’s Bluff

You know… the one where they know that we know that they know. In a hilarious showdown between Chandler and Phoebe, the pair pretend to be flirting and hooking up in a game of chicken, before Chandler gives up and declares his love for Monica who’s hiding in the bathroom. We’re not crying, you are.
6. The One Where He Can’t Smile

It turns out that Monica didn’t know how bad her future husband was at smiling until they got in front of the camera! Fortunately, Joey stepped up in the end for some stunning engagement pictures, but the memory of Chandler looking down… looking down… will forever be in our minds (and hearts).
7. The One Where Monica Thinks He Has A Thing For Sharks

Monica and Chandler did their best to make it work long distance for a while – which included a hilarious misunderstanding where Chandler switched the channel after a surprise visit, and Monica thinks he has a thing for sharks. Being the ever-supportive wife, she asks if he wants her to “thrash” in the tub!
8. The One Where He’s Trying To Propose

Being Chandler, it was never going to be simple when he decided to ask Monica to marry him. First, he tries to put her off completely and pushes her back into the arms of Richard. Then, when he actually takes her to dinner, Richard shows up and Chandler gives us one of the most hilarious dinner scenes on television due to pure panic and awkwardness.
9. The One Where He’s Stuck In An ATM

Of all the characters, Chandler is the best person this could have happened to, when he’s stuck in an ATM vestibule with none other than Jill Goodacre. One of the oldie but goodie episodes, we then hear the hilarious inner monologue going on in Chandler’s head during this very difficult time.
10. The One With The Stolen Cheesecake

In one of those rare scenes between Rachel and Chandler, we get the stolen cheesecake saga, which sees the two friends obsessing over a delicious cheesecake from Mama’s Little Bakery, Chicago, Illinois – even after it’s fallen on the floor. To top it off, Joey joins them in the end with an emergency fork. RIP Matthew Perry – and thanks for the memories.
