While 70 micrograms of the drug would certainly be fatal, Prince was found with 450 micrograms in his liver.

Paul Walker’s autopsy revealed that the actor had tried to defend himself by shielding his head and face from the impact of the crash. His official cause of death was trauma and burn injuries. His jaw, collarbone and pelvis was also broken, as well as Walker’s body being so burnt it was unsuitable for organ donation.

But in 2019, he was found unresponsive in his home, and it was later revealed that he had tragically died in his sleep due to a seizure resultant from an ongoing medical condition. The autopsy confirmed that the death was a natural accident.

James Dean was pronounced dead on the 30th of September in 1955. He was travelling on Route 466 and another driver – who was the one at fault – crashed into him. Whilst the other driver walked away with just some minor injuries, James Dean suffered from a broken neck which was the cause of death during the crash.

The news broke on February the 11th, 2012 that Whitney Houston was found dead in her suite at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. She was submerged in the bathtub but it took around a month for the coroner’s office to report her official cause of death: drowning and the “effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use“.

It was Kurt Cobain’s electrician that found his body and he initially thought that Kurt had just been sleeping. This was until he saw blood near his ears and then a gun near his body. Alongside this, there was a high concentration of heroin that was found in his system. It was suspected he had been dead for a few days before his body was found.

Sadly, on the 20th July 2017 his battle with depression won and he was found hanged in his home in California. Multiple publications have said him to be one of the greatest rock vocalists of this generation.

Luke Perry starred in endless hit shows including the likes of Beverly Hills, 90210, Riverdale and even Will & Grace. Without prior medical issues, he suffered from an ischemic stroke on the 27th February 2019. Following a second stroke his family decided that it was time to remove him from his life support on the 4th of March.

Sarah Harding was one of the five members of British girl band Girls Aloud. In 2020 she announced that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. It wasn’t long before it began to spread to other parts of her body. On the 5th of September 2021 she passed away with complications from breast cancer.
Sonny Bono

Sonny Bono was the ex-husband of Cher. His death was publicised because of the freak tragedy of the accident. He was skiing in Lake Tahoe when he skied off trail and into a tree which killed him. His wife at the time, Mary, blamed his death on his addiction to prescription drugs despite the autopsy finding no evidence of drugs in his system.
William Holden
William Holden the Academy Award winner was not just known for his acting skills but also his notorious drinking habits. He died at the age of 63 when according to the autopsy he was alone drunk in his room when he slipped on his rug and whacked his head on the bedside table and bled to death over the course of four days.

Linda Darnell was a classic movie star. She died at the age of 41. She was found in her house that was burning down. The autopsy confirmed that Linda had not died in the fire but after as a result of the burns that covered 90% of her body. The fire was accidental due to careless smoking.

Hollywood star Ramon Navarro was found in his home in the Hollywood hills. His body was bloody and he had been brutally murdered when he was found the next day. He had two male lovers around at his house that night of the murder and they were later tried and found guilty.

Bruce Lee was a martial arts expert who became famous in the world of Hollywood. He died prematurely as a result of a brain edema according to the autopsy. This edema was possibly caused by an addiction to prescription drugs. He died as his career was truly taking off.

Bob Crane was an actor and a drummer and an all round talented and popular guy. He was murdered after being bludgeoned to death with a sharp object and he was found with an electrical cord around his head. The murder to this day remains unsolved as Carpenter was tried and acquitted.
Lana Clarkson
Lana Clarkson was a popular actress. Her death was shrouded in mystery. She was found at the mansion of Phil Spector. She died as a result of a head gun shot wound and Spector was seen exiting the mansion and declared he thinks he shot her, despite then claiming she did it herself. After his first trial it was declared a mistrial de to a hung jury. Only later was he found guilty of second degree murder and sentenced to 19 years.
Robert Fuller
Robert Fuller had a very full life and career and he was involved in many movies during his time, he may be best remembered for his country and western movies. He celebrated his 80th birthday. He died of natural causes as was declared by the results of his autopsy.
Marc Bolan
Marc Bolan will always be remembered for being a musician, part of T-Rex. Sadly he died in a car crash alongside his girlfriend named Gloria Jones when the car flew off the road and hit a tree. The pair were killed instantly due to the impact of the crash.
Isadora Duncan
The famous dancer Isadora Duncan was strangled in France, Nice. It happened as a tragic accident when the huge silk scarf she was wearing became tangled in the mechanics of her open car. She ended up being strangled to death when she could not release herself from the scarf around her neck.

Les Harvey was a popular guitarist and he was actually performing on stage in front of around one thousand fans the night that he sadly died. He was tuning up for the show that was about to take place when he was electrocuted and died as a result of this.

Elizabeth Hartman was a famous Hollywood movie actress who had been nominated for an oscar. At the age of 43 she died after jumping out of a window in an act of suicide as found by the autopsy. She had called her doctor to tell them she was depressed and was going to do it.

Leslie Steiner passed away in her own home. She was a public speaker and author who had gone through multiple trauma in her life. Her daughter had died after hitting her head when her car hit a tree and she was in an abusive relationship which nearly killed her.

Keith Relf was a famous English musician, he was the voice of the group called Yardbirds. He died due to electrocution, he was practicing his electric guitar in the cellar of his home, which had not properly been grounded and the electrocution killed him.

Rebecca Schaffer was already a star by 21 years old but her career was just starting to flourish. She tragically died at the age of 21 years old when a deranged fan called Robert John Bardo of hers started stalking her and ended up killing her. Bardo had already had previous convictions.

Ray Combs was an American comedian. He was a popular guy and he hosted Family Feuds but they decided to replace him with the original host. He was struggling for money and he also had to deal with the divorce from his wife. He ended up hanging himself by the bedsheets and the autopsy deemed it suicide.
Martha Mansfield
Martha Mansfield became known for her stage plays and silent movies. She was actually filming a film the day she died. She had gone to sit in her limousine for a break and somebody lit a a match and threw it, her dress was engulfed in flames and by the time she was rushed to hospital it was too late – she died the next day at the age of 24.

Albert Dekker was an American actor. His death caused a lot of speculation. He was found hanging over a bathtub with a rope around his neck and the first thought was suicide. But due to the circumstances, including the outfit he was wearing and the sex toys and porn found in his apartment it was ruled a sex act gone wrong.
