Gok Wan has continued to inspire us with his fashion advice and wise words over the years- but the star had kept notoriously quiet about his dating life.

While fans were keen to see the fashion expert settle down in a relationship, it seems that Gok hasn’t been quite as enthusiastic.

So is Gok actually dating anyone at the moment?

In short? The answer is no- for now at least!

Gok Wan has been concentrating on his TV career for the moment, and is currently busy with his glitzy new daytime show Bling, which starts on ITV next week.

And it seems that Gok is preferring to put effort in his friendships rather than a relationship right now.

Speaking to Yours magazine, the stylist said:

“Although I am single, I never pine to be in a relationship but I do pine to be with my friends. I put as much into my friendships as I do my work.”

But our fave fashion expert hasn’t given up on marriage completely.

In an interview with The Sun, Gok finally revealed that he would like to get married one day after all:

“I do intend to be married at some point in my life because I want the wedding.

But whether I end up marrying one of my girlfriends – just to have the day – or whether it’s a love marriage, I have no idea.”

So essentially, he wants a big party. We can’t blame you Gok…

But the stylist also candidly admitted that he was “**** at relationships” and said:

“I’m definitely of the school of thinking: ‘If you’re not very good at something, then don’t f***ing go near it.

If relationships come along then they come along. And if they’re not there, I don’t tend to miss them too much.”

Previous Relationships

Gok Wan has long maintained that he’s been far too busy for love. But back in 2016, it seemed that the fashion expert had found happiness for a while.

The star was dating Holby City beau David Ames, and the pair looked absolutely smitten.

David, who played Dr Dominic Copeland, was spotted with Gok at a Dive magazine party. Gok had his arms wrapped around David, and the news soon leaked to the press.

Gok’s good pal Daniel Hughes confirmed the news, and the couple slowly became more comfortable with showing off their relationship.

Both Gok and David would upload cute pictures for each other’s birthdays on social media, and the pair would often be pictured on romantic dates together.

But things started to go quiet between the couple towards the end of 2019, leaving fans unsure if Gok and David had actually split.

While nothing was ever officially confirmed, it’s thought that the pair had parted ways shortly after Gok’s birthday.

Career

While Gok Wan hasn’t been on the dating scene all that often, it’s clear that his focus on his work has paid off.

Before finding TV fame, the fashion consultant was working with celebs including Bryan Ferry, All Saints, Damian Lewis, and Wet Wet Wet.

The trusty stylist appeared as an “on-screen” fashion consultant LK Today and The Xtra Factor, and bagged his own show How to Look Good Naked in 2006.
