He’s certainly made his mark in the music world and is now a household name – but aside from that he’s also written books and starred in films.
With such a varied career, you can imagine that the star has made a fortune in his 35 years. But just how much is Tom Fletcher’s net worth?

Most of this wealth is thanks to his superstardom as singer and guitarist in McFly, but he’s recently chosen a slightly different career path.

The singer released his first children’s book in 2012, which was written along with band-mate Dougie Poynter.
Since then, he’s released a solo novel, The Christmasaurus, and has written a dystopian love story alongside his wife Giovanna.
The pair got into trouble this year when it was revealed that they claimed furlough money through the Coronavirus pandemic. The pair have a combined net worth of almost £10 million and claimed up to £30k in government money.
The couple later apologised, saying: “Although it was a time of great uncertainty, we clearly should have thought more about the situation and funded it ourselves. It was a huge error of judgement and a mistake we wholeheartedly take responsibility for and we have paid the full amount back.”
Where Did He Meet His Wife?
Tom Fletcher and Giovanna Falcone didn’t hit the spotlight properly until Fletcher’s heartfelt wedding speech went viral.
However, the two had met long before their 2012 dream wedding.

In fact, Tom met Giovanna when they were just 13 years old at the Sylvia Young Theatre School. Their second names meant they were often sat together and quickly struck up a friendship.
By 2003, the pair had started dating. Eight years later, Tom proposed to Giovanna in the same place they met – the assembly hall of Sylvia Young Theatre School.
However, their relationship hasn’t been without its rocky moments.
The couple split up briefly for 14 months – though Giovanna admits that she thought about Tom constantly during that time.
She said:
“I had a boyfriend for the 14 months we weren’t together, but Tom was always there. We never left each other alone really.
When I met the McFly boys for the first time, Dougie said to me, ‘He literally talks about you non-stop’. And I remember being in Namibia and thinking about Tom more than I did my boyfriend.”
From McFly to Family Man
In March 2014, the couple celebrated the birth of their first son, Buzz.
In 2016, their second son, Buddy, was born, and their third son Max was born in August 2018.

Tom doesn’t shy away from telling his 2 million Instagram followers how he feels about being a dad, either.
On their son Buddy’s fifth birthday, he posted a beautiful message as the two dressed up in superhero outfits.
“Happy birthday to our Buddy. No two days are the same with this kid, always in search of adventure and usually knows just where to find it.
I’ve loved seeing that mischievous smile grow into the five-year-old he is today and am so lucky that I get to be the one he calls dad.”

He was paired with Aliona Vilani and beat Waterloo Road actress Chelsee Healey to lift the trophy.
