Olly Murs first appeared on our screens in 2009 as he completed a live audition for the sixth series of The X-Factor.
Singing Stevie Wonders’ Superstition, Olly bounded and danced across the stage, impressing all of the judges and the audience.

He said: “I’m still on the fence on the pure basis I love the show because I came from it, so of course I want to watch it on TV.
But at the same time, maybe the show does need a little break just for people to replenish their eyes and ears and refocus.”

Since 2017, Olly Murs has been a coach on the UK series of The Voice.

However, he hasn’t left behind the world of music. Just recently, Olly has embarked on a big tour across the UK, playing to huge crowds at outdoor stages.
Just days ago, though, he shut down his gig to help a young fan who had an epileptic seizure while in the crowd.
After noticing the paramedics around the girl, he stopped singing, asking her and her mum if she was okay. He refused to start the gig again until the girl had been taken out of the crowd to the first aid tent.
Later, on Twitter, Olly tweeted his support to the girl’s mum, saying: “Oh god I hope she is ok!! Do send her my love x”

Olly Murs has been dating bodybuilder Amelia Tank since 2019. They started by chatting on social media but soon realised there was a real spark.
He frequently posts loved-up pictures with the fitness fanatic on his Instagram, and they recently shared a family holiday together in Cornwall.
