We’re absolutely obsessed with Married at First Sight, and Owen and Michelle are one of our all-time favourite couples.
After tying the knot when meeting for the first time, the pair have been enjoying their new found fame.
So what have the couple been up to since their time on the show, and are they still together?

Owen and Michelle captivated audiences after taking part in the hit reality show, which works as a social experiment.
Couples meet for the first time as they’re about to tie the knot, and Owen and Michelle met moments before their marriage ceremony went ahead.

But primary school teacher Michelle Walder and IT Manager Owen Jenkins instantly felt a connection- and melted viewers hearts.
And the pair revealed some sneaky behind the scenes secrets from the show, and said that the audition process is a lot more intense than they had initially expected.
Speaking to Heart, Michelle said:
“You started off by sending in an application video online… You get invited to the ‘single’s day’, where you meet the experts.
Then if they think they have a good match for you, the experts do some more digging, they spoke to my family and friends (they even called Owen’s ex-girlfriend)!”.
Married Bliss
Shortly after the pair got hitched, lockdown hit.
This meant that the newly married couple had to isolate together, despite knowing virtually nothing about each other.
But Owen and Michelle rose to the challenge, and seemed happy to spend time all of their time together as a newly married couple.
Speaking on ITV’s This Morning, the pair chatted with Holly and Phil about their time isolation time.

Owen said:
“It was never really a question. We just knew we were going to go into lockdown together. There was no sort of question about that. We knew straight away.
We got to spend 24 hours together and get to know each other, which is quite important when you’ve only just met your wife.”
The loved- up pair now live in Sheffield, with Michelle upping sticks and moving cities to be with her new hubby.
Owen and Michelle then bought their first house together, which they’ve been busy renovating for the past few months. The couple show off their progress on joint Instagram account, which we think is pretty adorable.
Family Life?
Earlier this month, the couple got fans hopes up after Michelle was pictured with a new baby- but it turns out it wasn’t actually hers.
On their shared Instagram page, the couple wrote:
“We’d like to introduce you to the first ever Married At First Sight UK baby. Her name is Penelope, she’s 6 weeks old and…
She obviously isn’t ours. She belongs to the wonderful @unseen_couple
Having a MAFS meet up with the other couples which means we also got to meet this little one.
Michelle got broody!”.

And it’s not the first time the pair have tricked their followers with pregnancy announcements.
Fans were left VERY confused after the reality TV couple posted about their “little creation” on Instagram.
In a post from January of this year, Owen and Michelle shared a snap of their latest project- their newly renovated fireplace.
The caption read:
“Our little creation. Swipe for a closer picture and before shots!”.
Michelle was also pictured protectively holding her stomach in the photo.
At this point, Instagram had gone into meltdown. The couple were then forced to announce that Michelle wasn’t pregnant, much to the disappointed of their fans.
So will Owen and Michelle actually be starting their own family at some point soon? We’ve got everything crossed!
