After hitting the big time after her stint in Hear’Say, Kym Marsh went on to become a Coronation Street legend- making her a household name.
But what do we know about Kym’s lookalike daughter Emilie Mae Cunliffe?
If she’s not appearing on The Voice or This Morning, Emilie can be seen stepping out on to the red carpet at swanky events with her soap star mum.
Let’s take a look at what Emilie’s been up to lately…
Emilie Mae Cunliffe
Emilie was born in 1997 in her native Manchester, and has two siblings- David Cunliffe Jr, and half-sister Polly Lomas.
Both Emilie and her older brother share the same father, builder David Cunliffe. David was engaged to Kym Marsh but they ended up separating before their marriage.
Emilie sees plenty of her dad though, and things seem civil between Kym and David despite going their separate ways.
Kym’s daughter was brought to wider fame after she auditioned for The Voice in 2015, when she was just 17.
But things didn’t go particularly well for her- and will.i.am compared her performance to “undercooked meat”. Oh dear.

Emilie was left distraught, and burst into tears when she walked off stage.
Speaking after her audition, Emilie Mae Cunliffe said:
“Singing is all I’ve wanted to do since I was a little girl because I enjoy it so much…
“It was probably one of the worst performances I’ve done. I didn’t expect anyone to turn around for me”.
She then went on to audition for Britain’s Got Talent, but Emilie was given the boot once again.
But this didn’t stop her from releasing her own single called Dancefloor in 2016. No, we haven’t heard of it either…
Motherhood
But when Emilie Mae Cunliffe turned 22, her life took a whole new direction.
She became a mother for the first time back in May 2019, giving birth to a beautiful boy weighing 7lb 2oz. And it seems that Kym Marsh couldn’t have been more delighted.
Chatting with Manchester Evening News , the soap star gushed:
“Emilie is doing great. She has been an absolute warrior.
It feels like the royal baby, and we beat her as well.”

Eddie Hearn Children: The sports promoter’s adorable family
While Emilie and her partner Mikey Hoszowskyj took their time to name their child, they eventually decided on a heartfelt name that left new grandmother Kym in floods of tears.
Emilie and Mikey settled on the name Archie- named after Kym’s late son who sadly died after a premature birth.
Speaking exclusively to OK! Magazine, Emilie said:
“His full name is Teddy Archie David Hoszowskyj. Archie after my late brother, and David after my brother, dad and grandfather.
When I found out I was having a boy I knew I wanted the name Archie to feature, but I wanted it to be a surprise for Mum.
After he was born, we bought Mum a keyring with a picture of Teddy in it and engraved it with the message: ‘Dear Loli, thank you for everything. Love, Teddy Archie David Hoszowskyj.'”
And it was clear that this meant the absolute world to her mum Kym Marsh.
The former Hear’Say star said:
“When I found out his name, I burst into floods of tears.
But now Archie lives on in Teddy’s name. Having a baby boy in the house with Archie’s name as part of his means the world to me.”
