Over the past few years, we’ve seen Joel Dommett on absolutely everything from The Masked Singer to I’m a Celeb spin off Extra Camp.
And with his schedule showing no signs of slowing down, the comedian, presenter and actor’s career seems to be going from strength to strength.

Joel Dommett has 825k followers on Instagram, and regularly entertains fans with video of clips of him trying to lift weights, make bad jokes with friends- and generally being Joel!
The comedian gives us plenty of insights into his celebrity life, and can often be spotted hanging out with pals Jonathan Ross and David Walliams.

After starting his career in acting, Joel made his debut on our screens in 2010 as D.C Sweeney in teen drama Skins. He then went on to tour as a stand-up comedian, and it’s here that Joel started presenting.
In 2011 he hosted Live in Chelsea, a discussion show revolving around the hit reality programme.
After this, Joel Dommett bagged a spot in Impractical Jokers UK from 2013 to 2014, before becoming a panellist on Sky 1’s Bring the Noise in 2015.
On the back of his previous TV successes, the comedian took part in ITV’s All Star Musicals, which saw him belt out some classic show tunes for a panel of judges.
And in 2020, Joe started hosting The Masked Singer, and has also gone on to present it’s brand-new spin off The Masked Dancer.
Married life
Joel is married to model Hannah Cooper, who also does fairly well on Instagram- with 75.9k followers of her own.
Hannah is signed to Nexus model agency, and has enjoyed shoots with magazines including Grazia.
And the pair even met on Instagram too!
The model slid into Joel’s DMs back in 2016- and the couple have never looked back.

In an interview on Loose Women, the comedian said:
“We met on Instagram.
She sent me a cat emoji with the heart eyes. That is the modern equivalent of the old phrase ‘you had me at hello,’ now it’s ‘you had me at cat emoji’.”
Joel and Hannah were spotted on dates together in May 2017, and were already engaged by the end of the year.
Chatting with The Metro about his decision to get married, Joel said:
“Honestly, it’s a really easy decision for me.
It was a nothing decision, this is the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. It’s easy. Nothing feels difficult about talking about the future.
Whereas I felt like in the past it felt weird talking about the future, but now it’s like of course we’re going to spend the rest of our lives together”.
The couple tied the knot in September 2019 in an intimidate ceremony in Mykonos, Greece, surrounded by friends and family.
And it seems like the smitten pair are settling into married life rather nicely. Hannah makes frequent appearances on Joel’s Instagram page, and the pair can often be seen showing their dedication to Brain Tumour Support- a charity that both Hannah and Joel are ambassadors for.

The comedian and his new wife also made their TV debut as a couple on Channel 4’s Celebrity Googlebox- delighting their fans. And it seems like Joel and Hannah were pretty excited about it too!
In a sneaky Instagram snap, Hannah wrote:
“Very excited to be part of the @c4gogglebox family. It’s a dream come true to watch telly and call it “work” 📺🧡”.
