Davina McCall has been on our screens for over 20 years, presenting shows like Big Brother, The Million Pound Drop, and The Biggest Loser.

Since 2020, she has been a judge on the hugely popular ITV show The Masked Singer and has also taken part in the ancestry show Who Do You Think You Are?

With so much TV under her belt, it’s not surprising that Davina has amassed pretty considerable wealth.

But what exactly is Davina McCall’s net worth?

In fact, in her 20-plus years in the public eye, Davina McCall has amassed a net worth of approximately £3 million.

This isn’t just down to her presenting roles though. The celebrity has also released a range of books, fitness DVDs, and has partnerships with brands like Garnier.

In 2015, she revealed that she doesn’t plan for her children to receive any of that wealth, though.

While Davina said she will happily take her children on holidays, they will have to learn how to earn and spend their own money themselves.

She said: “I look at my daughters now and have painstakingly told them they won’t be inheriting any money. Me and Matthew plan on spending every penny.”

Her Early Career

The 53-year-old TV star has had an extremely successful career on the screen, beginning in the early 90s.

After studying for nine O levels and two A levels at Godolphin and Latymer Girls School in London, she took jobs as a singer, dancer, cabaret performer, and hostess.

In 1992, she joined MTV Europe as a presenter and moved to Channel 4 in 1998 to host the dating show Streetmate.

However, she’s probably most famous for hosting Big Brother and the spin-off show Celebrity Big Brother.

According to some reports, by the time the eighth series of the show aired in 2008, Davina was making £85,000 per episode.

When Channel 5 brought the show back in 2013, Emma Willis was chosen to replace Davina McCall.

In 2009, Davina McCall appeared in an episode of the ancestry show Who Do You Think You Are?. She discovered that she is related to the famed French police officer Célestin Hennion, as well as the stonemason James Thomas Bedborough, who worked on Windsor Castle.

Who Is Davina McCall’s Husband?

In 1997, Davina McCall married actor Andrew Leggett. However, the marriage didn’t last very long at all, with the pair splitting after just three months.

Three years later, she tied the knot with Matthew Robertson, presenter of the show Pet Rescue. Her second marriage was more successful, and she had three children with Matthew: Holly, 19, Tilly, 17, and Chester, 14.

Sadly, in 2017, Davina announces that she was separating from Matthew, shortly after her 50th birthday. In her statement at the time, she said:

“I am very sad to say that Matthew and I have separated.

Our amazing children are our number one priority, above everything else so therefore we ask for as much space and respect from the media as possible while our family goes through this difficult time.”

After the split, the pair remained living together for a while, until Davina moved into a rented place.

In 2019, she found love again, though. She confirmed that she was dating hairdresser Michael Douglas, who she has known for over 20 years.

In the past, Davina has also had a relationship with famed American singer Eric Clapton, who is a family friend. She said that he helped her overcome a drug problem in her early 20s.

Does She Have Dementia?

This year, Davina shocked fans by suggesting that she may have the beginnings of dementia.

She described experiencing terrible brain fog, saying: “I remember sitting on the drive and looking at some grass, thinking: “What’s the word for that?” I thought it was some kind of dementia.”

However, it turns out that the brain fog was entirely attributed to menopause. As well as brain fog, the presenter has also experienced trouble sleeping, night sweats, and hot flushes.

She spoke about her experiences with perimenopause and menopause on the Channel 4 documentary Davina McCall: Sex, Myths, and Menopause.

Recently, she has begun Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) in order to manage her symptoms and has said that it’s made a big difference.
