George Clarke is TV’s favourite architect, but he’s been fairly private about his marriages over the years.
After enjoying successes with shows including George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces, The Restoration Man, and Ugly House to Lovely House, the star has now moved on from first wife Catriona Drummond, and is in a new relationship.
But what do we know about Catriona Drummond, and who is George Clarke now married to?
Marriage to Catriona
Before George found fame on our TV screens, he worked as an in-demand architect and renovated homes across the UK and beyond. The star partnered with world-renowned architect Sir Terry Farrell, working in both London and Hong Kong. He even had Jamie Oliver and Simon Fuller as his VIP clients!
But in the early 2000s, he landed a gig that brought him closer to meeting his half Spanish wife Catriona Drummond.

One of George’s clients happened to be Catriona’s brother, and the pair soon hit it off.
While nobody’s exactly sure when the couple tied the knot, it was thought to be not too long after the pair initially met.
George Clarke and Catriona Drummond had three children together over the course of their marriage- Georgie, who recently finished his A levels, Emilio, and youngest child Iona- who can all be seen spending time with their famous dad on his Instagram page.
The couple raised their family in a swanky London neighbour Notting Hill, while they continued to work on their careers.
Catriona Drummond works as an art director, and has spent time working in a variety of animation departments over the years.
George Clarke was enjoying a career as a TV presenter for both Channel 5 and Channel 4, and was fast becoming a household name.
It’s thought that the pressures of their careers and busy work schedules began to cause a rift, and the couple separated in 2013 after a whopping ten years of marriage. George and Catriona’s divorce was finalised the following year.
In a statement released at the time, The TV architect explained:
“We have been married quite a long time and decided to part. We have separate custody of the kids and are going through an amicable separation and divorce.”
Moving On
After his marriage to Catriona broke down, George wasted no time and moved on with new squeeze Katie.
